But the premise of the game is not strong enough to support a red, blue, yellow, silver, gold, crystal, sapphire, ruby, leaf green, fire red, and emerald version. There all basically the same game just with small changes and updates here and there. But my original point was responding to this: all you do is catch stupid pokemon and battle trainers.Runescape and Pokemon build upon the same system of repitition of training. You can't hate a game for the reason of it being simple when you play a game that's just as simple. This is the way the world ends. Look at this [bleep]ing shit we're in man. But yes the graphics and the system are extremely similar to Pokemon in that game. Pokemon "Diamond" also has a lot of profanity and poor translations which makes it fun to play even if you get bored of the game itself. Literally every second or third person you talk to in the game will curse at you or use the sh.. or f... words or just say something extremely rude. It has become much more complex with the release of the gba pokemon games. Although it only requires basic algebra, to understand it conceptually is extremely hard. My pokemon team is the pwnage team, probably one of the best teams out there, with no mixed evs, very high ivs, good base stats, sweepers, special sweepers, a tank, breeded to near perfection. I had like the bestest deck ever (all maximum level+ PP): Mewtwo Zapdos Dragonite Kabutops Dugtrio Venemoth Ooohh any Pokemon with a decent ice attack(Ice Beam or Blizzard) would completely tear apart that team. That's right, but every oponent in the game was too weak (apart from Lorelei in the Pok̮̩̉̉ League, yet my Zapdos could still kill every Pok̮̩̉̉mon of her without she doing an attack on me). My human oponent were just too stupid to use an ice Pok̮̩̉̉mon. They prefered MACHAMP or liek teh ONIX!!!11 But yes, that's always something I thought was wrong with Pok̮̩̉̉mon. The TV shows are utterly lame, but the game is just addicting. I kinda liked the TV show. Except Koffing was a bad guy so he was always getting his round-purple butt handed to him :( The card game is a great game. It actually takes strategy, and skill to play. Even against novice players, it can still be a challenge. The games for gameboy or gamecube are fun too. I'm not sure why these are fun though..I just like them.. Pokemon could be percieved as for kids to the likes of you, but it is a really deep RPG in which you need a great deal of stratgey and skill to succeed with. Try playing it before making assumptions? Stat = (( BaseStat * 2 + IV + EV/4 ) * Level/100 + 5 ) * P Stat = Math.Floor( (( BaseStat * 2 + IV + Math.Floor( EV/4 ) ) * Level/100 + 5 ) * P Now that was just for calculating the attack, defense, speed, and specials. Now, on to the growth formulas. Quick is .8^2, moderately is n^3, moderate slow is 1.2n^3-15n^2+100n-140, and slow is 1.25n^3. Yes, they are only simple quadratic equations, but I'm pretty sure I didn't learn that until middle school. Now for an example... Sp.D = (( BaseStat * 2 + IV + EV/4 ) * Level/100 + 5 ) * PV 152 = (( 110 * 2 + 0 + 95/4 ) * 55/100 + 5 ) * PV 152 = (( 243.75 ) * .55 + 5 ) * PV 152 = ( 134.0625 + 5 ) * PV 152 = 139.0625 * PV 1.093 = PV PV is personality values.
