i mean i think its the stupidiest thing i have ever seen. its goes on forever. the games are so easy the ppl have to buy the guidebook. i mean a 5yr old can play the game and not use the guidebook. all you do is catch stupid pokemon and battle trainers.

You THINK you caught them all. But then when you had all of the yellow version, they came at you with the blue version. Then the red version. Then the gold version, the silver version, the black version, sky blue version, hot pink version, the new and improved rainbow version, the I'm going to invent a new color so I can make a new version version. And after they go to television and movies.

The game really is a pretty good rpg, as far as replay value.. There are so many ways to beat the game, so many paths to take.. especially some of the newer versions.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I used to watch the show.. and I see nothing wrong with it now. It's meant to be a kids show, you don't have to like it now, you're not designed to.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

As for all the merchandising, I say "meh". The Harry Potter merchandising is far worse in my opinion.

How can you NOT like Pok̮̩̉̉mon?! I collected all the Pok̮̩̉̉mon stickers and cards... Had basically all of them, and more. I had doublers of almost every Pok̮̩̉̉mon, I was the 1337 collector of them at my primary school.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

As for the TV show, that wasn't too bad... Bit cheesy, but not bad. The original ones were the best. I stopped watching them after the new ones took over.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

And the game, don't get me started. The games for the Gameboy were amazing, a role-playing game like that was pretty addictive. I completed Red, Blue, Yellow and Green so far. I haven't even bothered with the ones with the new Pok̮̩̉̉mon, as yes... They're a load of crap. They're nothing compared to the retro-ones. Yellow was possibly the worst out of the ones I've completed, with Green being the best, as it's more advanced, but with the same Pok̮̩̉̉mon.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Moving on to other games that are related to Pok̮̩̉̉mon. E.g/ Pok̮̩̉̉mon Card Trading Game on the consoles(may have been on the Gameboy), in my opinion, they sucked. Pok̮̩̉̉mon Stadium was awesome, I loved that game, played it quite a bit, obviously completing it. ;)

It was popular when I was in high school even. Then Yu-gi-oh came. There all the same, some crappy anime [cabbage]. Little kids worship peices of cardboard and act like their charzard is the most valueable thing in the world. As for the video game, I just want to throw that damn game-boy against the wall. Whenever I was trying to talk to this guy at lunch he was always playing red version or whatever and would never listen to a word I was saying. :evil: Ugh, it just pisses me off.

I never cared much for the storyline, but the strategy in the game is amazing. Being able to determine using EVs and DVs what Pokemon will yield the highest stats and knowing which moves you should give them...it requires an enormous amount of strategic knowledge. As for the newer games, I love them too. As they become more complex, the strategy increases even further.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Some friends and I have fun raising Pokemon in the original versions to level 40 and battling in teams of three. My current record is 6-1. :)

You are a complete spoon, it doesn't go on forever. I don't even know what game your talking about, but it takes around 25 hours to beat the elite four in every one of them. To a fool like you, that would be completing the game. I would say that the gyms and elite four are easy, but it isn't easy training to level 100, or playing someone with a bit of sense in multiplayer. And your saying that because its so easy you have to buy the guidebook? Wha??
