Stellar post! 2.Rings of wealth are entirely innefective in the tunnels,hell im pretty sure theyre just innnefective everywhere. 4.Jagex CLAIMS that crumbling tomes dont affect what all you get from the chest,but then again,they also claim that kharil and ahrims werent affected and that whip specials were meant to be that way. Well, you can't really prove either case either way. I wear my ring of wealth because there's really nothing better to fill the slot with at the moment, unless I felt like shelling out for one of those new stat rings. I don't take a book because it would fill up an inventory slot, and the book seems a lot more iffy than the ring. 3.Kill count DOES increase the amount of runes and coins you get BUT so does the amount of time you spend in the tunnels.I would reccomend trying to spend 5 minutes in the tunnel max(I think another forum user worked out the forumla of time spent in tunnel/killcount = quality of goods in chest or something,if thats you,please post the correct formula in this this thread) I have done well over 200 barrow runs and I have never noticed any correlation between the time you spend in the tunnels and the amount of runes you get. I don't think this is true at all. Besides, you're going to have a much better chance of getting gear if you do 25 runs an hour instead of waiting around for nothing and ending up doing 10. 5.You should always have at least 5 open inventory spaces whenever you open the chest since it doesnt drop items first and you always seem to get items in this order. Anything that can't fit in your inventory goes on the floor. You won't miss anything if you don't have five slots open. umm a question, anyone tried a salve amulet? It may or may not; but nobody melees the brothers (except for Ahrim in some cases) so it's not going to be useful in any case.

November 18, 200520 yr dont be jealous =p what are ur defence bonus (slash stab etc.) with that set up? 322-stab 319-slash 306-crush 14-mage (thats right its a postitive thanks to fury) 343-range -- and 100-strength bonuse :shock: woot nice m8 :shock:

I advice killing all 6 brother's, I go for a kill count of 7, and have gotten 4 item's in the last 2 week's, since i started useing the formula (3 weeks ago)

November 19, 200520 yr could i do barrows with those stats?...if its posible wat should i be using......im poor so i have been thinking of getting a cannon and using it but idk You probably could, barrows is easy with prayer pots.
November 19, 200520 yr one thing i want to say about barrow..4 melee brother have no mage def..u don't have to wear mage robe in my opinion..it's better to wear monk robe(for pray bonus) look my gears on page 5..it has -17 mage bonus..but it still hits them accuratly

I've gone 10 times, gotten nothing good (not surprising). I'm still small (82 combat), so I only do one run per load. I have found that the druid pouch is worth having, for me. I got tired of losing 1, 2, or even 3 sharks per run. The druid pouch stops that. My Goals and Achievements

Ahrim has no ranged defence at all, but he has mediocre melee defence. plus, if your prayer runs out and you're in melee armour, you're good as dead against him. basically, range hits much more often and you can fight him without prayer if you have high enough ranged, saving pots. November 20, 200520 yr Why does everyone use range on the maging brother? melee is just as good and you don't have to take up three spaces for the extra gear. i don't really want to bring a whip and dagger slashing is awful... besides the fact that range makes him fall really really fast.
