Is this correct, and not too OP? It doesn't seem as bad as the Scathe, at least.

 

The Dusavi are the most recent arrivals to the world of sentience, having only become aware several thousand years before. Despite this, they have quickly adapted to their homeland and become a cultured people. Recently, as the result of extreme climate change, only a few of the Dusavi survive today, in a single tightly knit tribal community. You have recently been elected the supreme despot of the tribe, after winning the form changing competitions.

Incabulos sends the Scathe a letter through a messenger on horseback. "Yes, our enemies are already surrendering without a fight! I shall try to break through the barrier and aid you in the fight."

 

A massive titan, around fifty feet tall, half the height of the guardian, appears out of the ground beneath the Scathe. Its edges are not well-defined, and its primary attacks seem to be stomping on the enemy or unleashing a swarm of maggots or vultures at the enemy.

The high priests hold off the tentacles long enough that the hero can burn the stumps of said vines. The guardian feels wounded, but regenerates again, though not completely, as the paradise is not still that damaged. (95% health) The various spirits charge and kill off thirty of your spearmen, who are still disorganized.

The jaffa leader has 49 other soldiers.

 

The Jaffa soldiers ineffectively bombard the hill with the ballista bolts, then move in to get a good range with the crossbows. They make it to the top of the ridge and let loose their crossbows, killing the enemies there at the cost of twenty of the troops. The Unionists agree to adopt the crossbow, but it might be too late, as the separatists are moving towards the capital.

 

The spearmen organize into several defensive wedges and the horsemen perform a cavalry charge on the summoned creatures. The highpriests hold the vines off and the hero slashes/burns them with his sword and light magic. Archers light the vines on fire as well as the guardian and the forest.

 

The summoned creatures are easily destroyed, though the priests begin to get tired of defending against hundreds of vines. Your hero manages to tangle the guardian's tentacles, preventing him from using it for an action. He breathes fire at your hero, but with divine protection and a trustworthy shield, your hero is not injured.

 

(Also, please go ahead with other things besides this battle, unless ya want to fight alone. I'm not sure if Ross is here)

Agriculture was already being researched, and continues being researched. Your elementals have trouble devising an efficient writing system.

The Daeka reach a swamp, with many trees that seemingly float a few feet above it. Adakkar tells you to take advantage of the swamp and to learn to live there, by growing native swamp plants and living in the trees/stilted houses.

 

You may choose how your species reproduces, but I update population figures daily.

That reminds me, if you wish to update the yearly update template with your figures on monks, and troops, then you can just copy and paste your part, and edit it, before posting it. Then I'll factor that in and stick it into the yearly update.

meh, the writing system will either use their tails, or in the acid breathers case, a controlled amount of acid to write runes into rock surfaces. we also begin research on slings for tails (i just figured that out..) also, a new holy shrine is made, as the last one was probably destroyed by the dods when we left it (i never made a new one)

Ok, so what you said earlier is what I have, right?

I have all the Daeka form webbed feet to avoid sinking in the wet ground and assist in swimming, as well as making their bones hollow to make them lighter, though slightly weaker. I have 200 Daeka form bone hooks to easily swing between trees, and send them out hunting for any unintelligent life. Any species they make contact with who seem to be intelligent, they approach cautiously and greet. 200 more Daeka form a second set of smaller, more precise arms to tend crops, and these are sent out to find appropriate plants to cultivate as a food source. The last 100 form bone cutters on their forearms to cut wood, with which they begin cutting wood and making open platforms in the trees.
