Retech
Sigh... 1,000 favor is used to break the shield of icabulos. Then another 1,000 is used to trap the scathe in prisms of burning light.EDIT: If that works the titan is assailed by light magiks and the forces move to claim the altar. The shield is broken somewhat, though Incabulos still has control of the valley. This power, he uses to stop your prisms of burning light. The high priests/ the hero charge up a large light spell. Fires are set to cleanse the decay from the land. The light spell goes awry, and the high priests are knocked out. Their energy, however, has passed to the hero. Fires are set, but are quickly put out by your own forces, because they had almost trapped and burned them. The Scathe attempt to infect everything, especially the Kinder Gotten, or destroy/choke everything else with poison gas. The titan will just smash them while they're weakened by the gas. The Scathe lose two thousand soldiers due to the peacock soldiers (13,000 left) but the peacock soldiers are quickly overwhelmed (300 under your control now). They can still fight for you, but they aren't exactly proficient in anything at the moment. The Peacock Hero recovers quickly, and asks Incabulos what his wishes are. The titan smashes through the peacock soldiers that weren't overwhelmed.50 of the Daeka hunters replace their bone hooks with long, sturdy, pointed spikes. They change the joint on their arms so they can drive their arms directly downwards (think necromorphs). They begin digging out the Flux Metal and bringing it to the tree-platforms. The warrior Daeka train with the Hippo mounts. The priests of Adakkar begin working with the Flux Metal, forming it into intricate and strong swords for the warriors. The farmers continue foraging for plants, and replanting them in relatively clear areas near the main village. The hunter-miners can't seem to remove the flux metal from the ground. It feels as hard as steel. The hippo mounts have learned the command "charge straight ahead". Your farmers create a small farm of stenchweed and smellflowers.Archers launch flaming arrows at the Scathe and the high priests/ hero launch beams of burning light at them. 1,000 favor is sacrificed to make the kinder Gotten impossible to infect to the scathe. The first part, was already posted before. The Kinder Gotten manage to become immune to the Scathe in the sense that, if infected they will retain their brains and still be able to fight on, but they will become zombie-like in their movements, and thus not as good in fighting. Retech
Fires are started away from the forces and the infected peacock hero is shot with flaming arrows. The high priests recover and Flaming arrows are shot into the Titan (s). The fires are started, but they are quickly suffocated by the noxious gases like Methane that the Scathe are putting out. The infected peacock hero bursts into flames as he is charging, his brilliant plumage a flaming wreck. The high priests recover, though feel incredibly drained, and the titan is set alight. Unfortunately, you now have a flaming decay titan to contend with, as it doesn't seem to feel pain...or damage. The infected peacock hero melds with more scathe to become a new engine of destruction, and then the needlers are commanded to destroy the remaining Kinder Gotten. The titan unleashes a wave of maggots upon the kinder gotten hero and his guards. The peacock is unfortunately killed before that can happen. The titan smashes its fist down on the Phalanx of spearmen, killing fifty of them instantly and breaking the phalanx. The needlers fire and kill another fifty spearmen, who were virtually defenceless after the titan attack. The hero easily beats back the maggots with arcs of burning light and sweeps of his arcane sword.I edited.\/ Now how's the (obvious) revenge assault going? Retech
well, i can deal with that until later... agri? i send a scout out, and we research how to make armor. I roll for agriculture every yearly update. I'll tell you the results. Your scouts find nothing out of the ordinary, except that they are curious as to what is beyond the sea. Your scientists ask what you want to make armor of. Favor is sacrificed to summon a juggernaught that is impervious to infection. The fanatics engage the needlers and the high priests hit the titan with arcs of light magic. The hero engages the Juggernaught. The archers keep up the bombardment of the Scathes with flaming arrows. Your god provides your hero additional power, and his sword grows twice as large, even though he is still the same size. Many of the fanatics are infected and fall over, but their sheer faith and devotion succeed, and they begin to engade the needlers, bludgeoning them with their various implements. The high priests cut the titan several times, but the titan is otherwise unharmed. The hero battles the Juggernaught for what seems like ages, before a surprise swing from the side impales the beast through the mouth, causing it to flee from the battle and out of the valley, back to Ross' city. The flaming arrows keep being intercepted, and the ones that do hit are quickly smothered, leading you to believe arrows might not work. In that case ten "deserting" jaffa "join" the enemy and plants bombs (large ammounts of explosive mix) within their ranks and ignite them. The Jaffa are shot at on sight, and they flee back into your ranks. The Scathe call upon Incabulos to counter any action the Kinder Gotten's diety takes using power from the oracle. The titan continues destroying spearmen, while the needlers destroy or infect all of the fanatics. The juggernaught is sent to infect the archers. All infected then turn upon the hero. Incabulos succeeds in stopping the creation of an enemy juggernaught, but fails in stopping the god from redirecting his energy to the hero. The titan kicks the phalanx of spearmen, and stomps out the rest quite easily. The needlers have trouble in melee combat against the fanatics, losing a few of them. The juggernaught has run away to your city. Ross:1 Flaming Decay Titan12000 Scathe50 Needlers Grim1 Hero3 High Priests100 Archers150 Fanatics Master of your domain?
