Thoughts on Armani Exchange track jacket, Nudies skinny jeans, and Nike Dunk Lows?

No to track jackets in general

Slim jeans are better, I'd go for Naked & Famous Weird/SlimGuys

Don't know how I feel about dunks, most of them time I don't like them.

All together it's a no, but that's my humble opinion.

I like the color, not a fan of the structure... I'd go for a regular Derby.

That's a nice leather jacket. I don't like the scarf the model is wearing though :s

 

I've got a double breasted coat;

 

Today I wore it with a tight fit t-shirt, grey v-neck cardigan, some dark straight cut jeans and my lime adidas hi-tops. Does that sound like a good outfit?

I'd forget about any flashy footwear in winter, it's almost impossible to pull off.

Looshbob I saw all the pics. Too much space between the laces, I think the heel is right though. Derbies without a heel are like a rod without a reel (I'm so sorry about that). But yeah, just get Clark's DBs, they look wicked once they're beat up.

What would you suggest instead?

Neutral footwear. Gray, black, brown, navy. Brown isn't as easy to pull off in combination with black, but you can try.

So something like a pair of black sneakers would do?

I've had a pair of DB's for an entire winter now (trendsetter whaaaat?) and they don't look better battered. The main reason being the light coloured sole gets much much much darker and the contrast is lost. Still a good boot though.

I don't like the contrast and leather always looks better with age. Also Clark is the original trendsetter since they've been more or less around for decades (if it's not me then I won't allow it to be anyone else). How do they deal with snow? I wanted to buy some for this winter but I looked at the sole and I wasn't convinced of the grip and warmth, so I bought cheap brogue boots from Aldo. Ironically, the rubber stickers that they give you to add grip to the flat soles are torn to shreds so I'm probably doing even worse than with DBs.

They're fantastic in snow. I obviously avoid throwing myself in snowbanks when I wear them because they don't go up your ankle that much and some snow gets in if your pants don't fit perfectly. The grip is surprisingly good, I don't fear walking on ice with them on (I never fear ice, but these do have good traction). As for warmth, it's pretty bad. But I just wear 2 pairs of socks instead of 1 and that keeps my feet nice and toasty warm :smile:

Do you have the suede or leather joints? I'm not surprised they're not warm, they're desert boots after all. Looks like I've found next year's footwear choice.
