Those things aren't really accurate. Most of them just base it on how many sites link to here. You can do that by spamming a site in every blog possible.

I know a thing or two about domains, and I can assure you that forum.tip.it is not worth more than 10k USD. Given that forum.tip.it gets around 15k daily visitors, it's expected ad revenue has a potential anywhere from 20-40 dollars USD per-day.

Although the funny thing about your post is that you need to recognize that forum.tip.it is a subdomain, which means that you can't just sell it. You'd need to sell the whole of tip.it, which WOULD actually be worth around 100k USD.

Indeed after all the buyer is a huge factor.

Someone invested in runescape or a fan of it would pay quite a bit for tip.it

But someone with no rs intent at all would see it as near worthless as it doesn't have consumers or produce revenue
