Steady cash inflow

Recommended Posts

Please, don't say slayer. I'm not interested in slayer at this point of time. In fact, please specifically refrain from slayer under pain of death.

I'm looking to make some steady cash, which doesn't vary too much. I'm not interested in killing dragons. I had to pay a whole 150k for 300 tuna, games necklaces and terrorbird pouches. Come on.

Preferably something that needs no start-up cash. I've been told picking fungus is not a good way. I have 51m in case I need startup cash, but I don't want to spend it.

Drops: Black Mask.

Clue rewards: Sara Plate, 2 Robins, Some other random stuff.

Herb farming and rcing are both very consistent, but you will need to spend some money on seeds and essence.

Questions like these tend to get half-answers. How about searching "money"-in titles-in Help & Advice, it's a very high topic of interest that gets posted.

I did it myself, but I don't understand these new methods, like Gnome Services, or Key Running.

I did it myself, but I don't understand these new methods, like Gnome Services, or Key Running.

There are two kinds of Key Running to my knowledge, sinister key running which only involves the keys and the chest in the dungeon north of Yannile, and muddy key running which requires a lava titan to get to the chest in the wildy. Both are good money, but muddy keys come into the game far faster than sinister keys.

Since when did Muddy Keys become a good source of income? Last I checked Mithril bars weren't exactly the joys of life.

I'm guessing he was refering to Sinister Keys.

The prices of uncut gems shot up for a while and thus muddy keys became a great source of income. Since the rogue nerf, however, it isn't as good anymore.

I don't have the stats to effecivly key run. Also, It would require cash to be spent at the start.

I already farm herbs, pick papayas, manage kingdom, fletch broads from slayer masters.

It's more of a specialized thread so I thought it better to post. I don't want to spend out first (not enough cash) and I'm not sure if fungus picking is the

best way to do that.

Actually.

Before 99 RC, fungus running was my main money maker.

It still rakes in 700k/hr+ if you're efficient. House tabs, plus Kharyrll teleport, and highest item holding summon you can use.

I recommend it definitely. Make sure you go to the three spot too.

I use the 3 spot with a bird and house tele runes. I can get a full bird/invent in one run without using any prayer pots/zammy brews, and go alter -> portal.

Picking mort myre fungus. You need a blessed silver sickle or a ivandis flail, and you cast bloom on the rotten logs in mort myre. This takes away prayer points. I think you can work out the rest.

I'd advise training a skill that has good income, i train runecrafting at the moment and only after a week of training a double astrals ive gone up a level and a bit and made 12m.

other skills could be fishing or wc'ing mages but these are slower cash flow. so runecrafting is the better option if your sure you dont want any slayer done.

Steady income in rs is either farming or mtk, thats pretty much it for least effort/cost.

For other things you obviously have cash USE IT either invest in your character in the form of levels (herby/prayer/summoning, speed leveling) or gear (fury/fremmy rings/barrows gear/claws or something) or you invest it in the form of merchanting to make more.

Don't see why your opposed to spending it...

Ok then, I'm opposed to skilling.

How would I go about merchanting? I know nothing about it.

Stuff the not spending, let's go about making good money. How?

I hope you don't use prayer pots/zammy brews... If you do you're butchering this method in terms of actually making anything decent.

for 300-500k per hour you can also just do chaos druids. It's riskfree and carefree.

The income is a bit dependent on your access to location, intelligence, manner of attack, competition, and means of transportation.

I can hit the 500k/hour quite reliably but I am a bit maxed out in most of the combat skills.

Edit:

Actually there are so many methods that give you 300-500k per hour.
