saw the Fiat 500 at the NYIAS. they had some hot twins there as the models. oh...there were 2 cars there, too, right? :P

I have 2 cars.

 

One being my pride and joy which i built from the ground up and the other being a work hack/run about (which you prob dont want to see)

We traded our Lexus GX something (God I hated that car, we've had older Lexuses that were the best cars we've had - my brother's had his '01 IS for five years without a problem) for a Ford F-250 Lariat. We're starting a concrete curbing business, so we needed a truck anyways. It's friggin cool. Our family's never been huge on trucks, but there's still something about being able to smash everyone else on the street.

No, he doesn't work for GM, and we don't have a LOT of money. I don't want to talk specifics since i know it is a harsh economic environment around the world, and most of us are fortunate enough to have 1 car. all i'll say is that the miata he got a ridiculously low price on from a local renowned doctor who decided to move to florida (the doctor is now retired and drives a ferrari according to my father). the solstice, however new, wasn't as much money as you would expect.

 

if we're talking taste in cars, i like things that look a little bit exotic and foreign. muscle cars don't really interest me.. my dream car would be like a porsche. my next door neighbors, who we think are in the russian mafia, recently pulled up in a bright orange porsche boxter (with georgia plates)- and perhaps its worth mentioning that they peel out in it at least 3 times a day.. i'll try to get a picture.

ps- they sell bottles of lotion at the mall, and as i posted this, they burned out.

As I was walking around downtown last weekend I saw a guy hop into one of these

I had my ipod on pretty loud and my "muddle under my breath" turned out to be pretty loud because after saying "[rooster] sucker" he flipped me off and drove away. Not only does he own the coolest car in the world (jealous) but he also flipped me off (angry) - we are now worst enemies.

My parents kept telling me to take driver's ed so I can get a car and do errands for them, saying they would buy a car for when I did. Well, here I am, 17 and just got my license, and they refuse to get one... while still telling me to do errands and get a job in Cedar Rapids (the big city near me). I mean, come on! I don't really care what I get, but eventually I WILL get a Jeep. Soft-top, black/red/white, two door. <3:

We have one in my town. A Lotus Elise, too. I think both are driven by the same guy - one of the city commissioners. He's probably one of the five folks who own the mall and half the liquor stores. My town's got a crooked government. But whatevs.

There was a guy who drove an Aston Martin Vantage past me every morning on my way to work. We usually passed at near enough the same time every morning at a junction (i was waiting to cross at lights, he was on the road), the sound coming out that car when he revved it up and drove off was [bleep]ing insane.

Single turbo, no room for twin. Whats wrong with a turbo 4 door? Theres loads of nissans that are 4 door and turbo from factory (this was converted)

thats true but i just really see the practicality other than saying you got one...its not really a sports sedan...

 

anyone here know anything about modding hondas? i'm looking into an ITR (gen 3) and when i can muster up about $15k i want to turbo it. i know id need to change the camshafts because stock ones cant handle the boost (about 10 psi, btw), and also ill need to lower the c/r or else the engine will blow up at that level of boost. to do that, ill need 9:1 pistons, and i'm looking at a set too. but the pistons are 81.5mm and the cylinders in the engine are 81...does that mean i have to bore the cylinders another .5mm? also, gotta re-sleeve the cylinders.

 

my main question is, anything else in the engine that i need to change out? i know stock internals wont hold boost too well, so they have to go, but other than that and the replacing of the pistons, i should be good, right?

some lambos look nice...but once youve seen one, youve kinda seen 'em all. and that lambo is fugly.

i was looking over the stuff that needs changing if i'm to FI my ITR, and i must say, i better become a heart surgeon/cadiologist fresh out of college and make jones or else none of this stuff will happen within the next 10 years.

 

Love me a range rover sport. It's the car I hope to get in a few years after uni/getting a career! Until then, I have a license, but no car. Need to look into finding one. :mellow:
