In response to the entire quote chain before this post; what if somebody actually needs attention? I think we've all been in a situation where we need somebody to talk to.

 

 

 

"Hey, can I talk to you about something?" <- Always ask permission first.

Usually I piss a lot of people off on Facebook because I troll people who post stupid things like that.

Just kidding. I have to go up to upstate NY to visit my Dad's family over Christmas break. Think about it - 8 hours in a car with the family on the way there, at least three days in two hotel rooms, possibly doing various boring activities with the family if we're not snowed in the whole time, and then 8 hours home. All for one little old lady in her appartment complex full of people waiting to die. There aren't even cousins living up there. And on top of that, last time they went I refused to go and stayed with my Grandpa instead, and last time I went I ended up spending the last night purging my body of all that is sinful in five greasy burgers and a Philly cheesesteak.

 

If I'm still alive, I'll let y'all know about the two books I recieve for Christmas.

 

Also, Rob, besides what Saru said, don't use Facebook. Facebook is PUBLIC. That means, not only will you look like an attention-seeking nuisance to people you know, but you will look like a complete douchebag to people you only sort of know.

Not being able to fall asleep after lying in bed for over two hours. Admittedly, I do a lot of pondering in my bed, but it still feels like a big waste of time.

Not being able to sleep after not going to bed because I have work to procrastinate. Then having to go to my therapy thing as a zombie and listening to her say "well, it's not depression, and it's not adjustment disorder, but there's obviously something wrong. We're gonna keep charging you money and wasting your time without really doing anything, alright?"

I am usually not able to sleep until like 5am. I just sit in bed and think about stuff. Or I like stare at the wall, or go on walks/runs.

But runs at/before 5AM? I stay up all night almost every other night anyways, but I don't plan it. I've tried going for runs on my treadmill in the night, but I worry it's just obnoxious to everyone else in the house, and running in the dark sounds a lot cooler than it is, especially during December. I did some chin-ups, but I'm not tired anyways after getting 15 hours of sleep last night.

 

And then I get to Physics (or, God forbid, Pre-Cal) and just give up.

and I hate running on treadmills, I go running across my neighborhood. I would run in the forest, but I'm bound to hit a root and like smash open my vocal box and lay there bleeding to death. And no one would ever know.
