Nero
It's not really that fun when you get your country taken in the first decade, either. Or at least, somebody tries to take it. Retech
Yes because world governments aren't fun. Of course they are. Icuownage
NWO was pretty powerful until everyone kinda scaredy catted away from Dusty. It's a REALLY big shaft.I didn't catch fire, I used the can of hairspray as a flamethrower and pointed it at my arm.how are you going to ignore my posts when I'm offering to let you live as my vassal in two weeks time? The NWO failed because it was so god damn untactical and you could've taken most of them out anyway. The NWO had sucky tactics until everyone gave me control over their militaries, then it became more consistent. The NWO folded when I figured that I could profit/salvage my empire by moving off of Earth. Latinoking then stopped playing, so I acquired his empire as well. Dungeonal quit because he lost Japan and I was moving our empire to space. Anyway, it doesn't seem like it's worth arguing about something that happened months ago on another thread. Seraphi
Well, I think giving military control to one person makes things more consistant regardless. It's like the saying "Too many cooks spoil the broth" except "Too many generals make a convulated mess of a plan and everyone dies" Sere, as I recall, you followed me to Sega-Res due to the fact that I was also NWO, correct? VEGHATERMEATLOVER
Hmmm... Ross, you have any statement saying your not a hypocrite or was your absense a hope of discussion change? If you give one person power over everything then things become ridiculous, it's just dangerous. The NWO was like a big metal box with guns sticking out of it; it wasn't clever/diplomatic it was just a big metal block with weapons. Seraphi
Hrm, well, if you'd like retorts, I shall oblige, pains me as it does. I have a chemistry exam in the morning. So I shouldn't be up too late. I attacked you because you basically came into the game (And indeed, the forum as a whole) and started throwing stupid ideas around, not listening to the PAGES of advice we tried to give you about how what you were doing was not going to work, then finally, a few of us just got really annoyed with you (It's not difficult to become annoyed when you are present), and decided "It doesn't respond to logic. Smash it with a big stick." I assume your attempt to back me into a corner (since you thought I didn't have any comeback to your comment and was running away from the problem (Remind you of anyones war with India? I'm talking about how you didn't post defenses for 3 days to stall for time, in case you didn't get that)), was simply an act to boost your own self-worth and feeling of superiority over me? You're not the only one who is fairly good at reading people, Hex. I think most of the tavern has that innate ability. Comes from RPing a lot. If anybody gets this reference, I shall be very shocked. Ross, over and out.
The Dark Lord
Sere, as I recall, you followed me to Sega-Res due to the fact that I was also NWO, correct? Yes. That had nothing to do with the war, though. I had already set up a colony on Planet Britanniae a long time before that. I was merely moving my population there. Earth just wasn't particularly useful after the war anyway. I think both sides were pretty much taxed of their soldiers (with the exception of some reinforcements from Fortress America and Midgard, and Earth was pretty low on resources anyway. However, Planet Britanniae had a lot more pristine resources and could help solve some poverty problems that I was having in India. I was going to lose Earth anyway considering that I spent all of my manpower and that Dusty would never have sought peace. Moving to space was the lesser of both evils. Even if I stayed on Earth, I would have still lost Britain and would have tremendous infrastructure damage. A victory meant a Pyrrhic victory, and a defeat meant oblivion. Nero
France, Italy, Russia, ERE vs India, Egypt, South Africa, Japan, Moonpeople (retech), Kazakhstan, Iran. And you're telling me that the European alliance was the 'super alliance'? Keep in mind during the war Russia did a total of 1 attack, Italy did a total of 1 attack, and all France did was piddle its navy around the coast of Saudi Arabia. So... ERE vs India, Egypt, South Africa, Japan, the moon, Kazakh, Iran. Look at my mega alliance gaise! Vienna Raszyn Warsaw Klushino

jasignhagj
Yes,but it was the threat of getting GRIM-SMASHED!!! that made us surrender, without your allies, we could of beat you.
