Scottish Invasion of England

The Scottish army found its first taste of true battle in the grasslands of England. It composed of two thousand knights, as well as two thousand Skirmisher bows, fifteen hundred peasants, and a thousand axemen. They had marched into the northern part of England, sacking several villages and murdered a few prominent citizens, such as Archi, the barrel maker for one of the isolated villages.

The English army immediately left the Welsh front to stop the Scots, though Leon shadowed close behind. The King of England himself joined the force with an additional five hundred knights. In the open field, the English army was no matched for the two armies and was easily crushed, pincered into defeat. As Leon shipped its soldiers back to Leon, England fell apart into civil war due to the death of their king. Several powerful barons have taken up the reign of leadership.

Mather, here are some estimated troop costs. Of course you can invent your own troops, but just compared to the chart:

Peasants: 100-150

Spearmen: 250

Pikemen: 400

Archers: 400

Elite Pikemen: 700

Heavy Horse Archers: 700-800

Men at Arms: 500

Ok, I used 10,000 peasants, that's 1,000,000, so 9,000,000 left.

Arbalestiers: 7,000 * 700 = 4,900,000.

Pikemen: 4,200 * 500 = 2,100,000.

Men at Arms: 5,000 * 400 = 2,000,000.

That's 10,000,000 total.

Keep in mind the barons are still pretty strong in their own right. You could probaly say that they would each be worthy of being called a small kingdom.

----

Please keep track of your army numbers. For each battle plan that you send me, please include the following things to make it easier for me.

Additional troops purchased for plan

Total Troops participating in plan

Number of troops in reserve for defence, or for whatever else (optional, but if you don't include it, I don't know how many troops are defending your country, and they'll come and raid you like they did to Grim)

----

Okay, leaving until the evening. Arbalesteers are 700 each.

Okay, please read my edits to the post above Trol's. Also, if someone is going to do a crusade thingy for the Catholics, plan it out with your allies and send me a big post with everything in it. You can make generalizations about the Pope, like "deploying Pope's forces here..." or something. Same thing for Mather with the muslims. You can assume that you're moving Egyptian forces here and there, or so on. Paul might have to coordinate his own defence.

Also, player vs player will generally make the wars last longer. So blitzes will be less effective, but it may prove winning over the long run. The more tactical player will probaly win, but I will have to figure out a system. Infact, for player vs player, I'll require a geographical map of the fields involved, because it'll be much more detailed.

Is my battle being redone?

It's a REALLY big shaft.

I didn't catch fire, I used the can of hairspray as a flamethrower and pointed it at my arm.

how are you going to ignore my posts when I'm offering to let you live as my vassal in two weeks time?

Changes:

Put back in Lichtenstein (If you want a country don't just assume to annex it!)

Put Norway back as an NPC country (it was only coloured as a mistake)

Coloured in the Zeirids.

England's entire army was just defeated and the country is in civil war. You could just waltz in and take over the northern half of England with little opposition.

Yes I can, I can quest for Egypt and create underground cities.

Lolwut. Curious if you can provide me with any example where a vassal state was given control over its master's territory?

I'm making a trade route, making an academy, doing research and attacking.
