Icuownage
Well my path initially isn't a warpath anyway, there is more to hegemony than war IMO, if I can universally control a ton of trade and become super rich then I will probably be able to hire other nations to fight for me... It's a REALLY big shaft.I didn't catch fire, I used the can of hairspray as a flamethrower and pointed it at my arm.how are you going to ignore my posts when I'm offering to let you live as my vassal in two weeks time? Iconic
Rocco, you can have an army of a million hoplites in the tip.it hegemony but its not going to beat Icu's army of a million Class III Biomech's [Falador tavern]

Icuownage
Frankly, if I have a ship you can't even hurt, cause your weapons can't cause enough damage before the shields are recharged. Like earlier my friend was playing a RTS game, and this guy build a bunch of shields next to eachother, his gun was the EXTREMELY powerful, and pretty much one hitted the shields, but it wasn't fast enough to actually get through, cause the shields just recharged and he was on an endless battle cause his ship would never ever pentrate those shields fully. So lets say I have a ship with great shields, and they have a multilayer shield generator, which is basically a bunch of shields on top of eachother. Your weapon can destroy 3 of the 5 shields before the first one destroyed is operational, you will never hurt that ship. Oh my god reading through this.... I'm A [developmentally delayed]. My grammar, it is... Kill me now. Icuownage
Yes. But when you literally can't get through the shield cause your weapons are just too weak, then it starts getting into the realm of "just can't win". Icuownage
That reminds me, I have to redo my tech list, I'll do it soon if you are free and can talk, and I have a few more ship designs (seriously by the end of it all I fear I maybe have something like 15, all designed just to do one task each). Iconic
Lol Archi. There is no point of arguing over this, its a matter of playstyle. Little and powerful or Large and weak. [Falador tavern]

Retech
Strelets are definitely the most versatile unit in AOG3. It's so easy just to spam them as cannon fodder while your falconets take down their falconets and your mortars rip apart their town. Cassadors are useful for that as well, for the skirmishing ability, instead of the cannon fodder. A bit more micromanagement but it's probaly more cost effective. Only problem is when the Ottomans and the French sometimes spawn armies of pure calvary and artillery, and I've built nothing to counter it. Master of your domain?
