Divine Spirit Shield

Hello, Crazykid here.

I would like to know what is the fastest and most effective way for me to get a Divine Spirit Shield.

My bankworth barely hits around 100m and here are my stats:

The Chaotic weapon I chose was a Chaotic Rapier.

Thank-You.

FFA/solo corp. Getting the money wouldn't be too hard, but gaining that much street-worth would mean actually making around 1.5B to buy it, so yeah, it would take less time to kill 300-1k corp.

Probably a combination of merchanting and boss hunting. You'll have to buy certain rares and work your way up. Make your money for those rares by doing a lot of TDs, DKs, and LS and/or FFA corp (you never know).

If you already had a huge amount of money, I'd say trying to snipe a sigil in addition to the above, but that's not really possible for you.

To put it bluntly, [bleep] off.

You're way higher combat than me, and I never corped (or even did DKS), but if you'll have me on your corp team, pm me .

Aha! This is where you know me/Toast from. Pro e-stalker.

OT: It's a toss up between trying your luck at FFA/ls corp and possibly ending up with absolutely nothing for your efforts, or monster hunting for money while trying to do a bit of rare merching to build street value.

Although what do I know, got mine in GE :shades:

The only advice I can offer is not to use the chaotic rapier as its damage is supposedly halved (Confirmed by mods). Z spear is probably your best bet.

Thanks, but well, I already knew that. I am looking for the best method of getting my hands on a Divine Spirit Shield with hardly no start up cash, not for actual Corp advice.

Thanks for all of your answers so far, but I'm still unsure which is the best way to go about this. I also may need some points on merchanting and the rares market.

Well if you aren't actually planning on corping for it, frost dragons would likely be the best moneymaker for you at around 3.5m an hour. As for getting the street up, just buy high street items with stable junk and lend out an ags for the junk, or buy rares with ~crashing items and sell those items at min.

boss hunt for money for rares then work your way up from those rares till you have it. another way is just to ls corp. you could try and snipe one off ge once you get the $ for it. won't guarantee you'll get one. think that is all you can actually do.

Definitly once you save up the money to buy it in the GE put it in for maximum.

I'm going to try to give you the best answer I can come up with here:

Free up most of your money for merchanting in the grand exchange, some easy commonly sold item, so you'll see a return of at least 1m or 2m on it a day, more as you make more money. Kill spiritual mages for clue and dragon boots drops, solo a few bandos kills a day, do some whip hunting and some barrows. Combine all this together to make sure you're making 3m+ a day. Then once you have the max price for a divine SIGIL, try to snipe it off the grand exchange by continually putting offer for max in grand exchange within 5 seconds of the price updates. Sigil goes up in ge every day because the shield itself is made from the sigil and the bss, which goes up or down in price every day, both pieces together must equal the price of the shield which doesn't often update in price.

Some new updates coming out may be better for money, like elite clues etc. I wouldn't suggest corping, you'll never get what you want.

This isn't a short-term goal from where you're at right now, decide if you really want to devote the time to this, there are rumors a dragon defender is coming out soon.

Its gaudy junk.

Its RWT currency.

Forget about it.

You could get all three lvl 80 shields way faster than that.

They may be situational but they will outperform spirit shields anyday if used corrrectly.

lmfao totally it's junk even thought it has a 1b+ street price. also are you dumb? those shields will never out perform divine. thats why it didn't crash after they came out. shields only soak up 20% of something and 10% of the other attack while divine soaks up 30% of everything.

Not to mention the maintenance price is much lower. I highly doubt you could run through 25-30 (Around 60000 damage, if I did my calculations correctly) prayer pots with the divine, whereas the shield uses more than 200k an hour since hits drain it faster. On top of that, the divine is resellable/lendable.

Divines aren't lendable.

But I agree, Divine > everything except a rune defender in certain situations, and there are rumors about the Dragon defender.

Hmm, I may settle for an Elysian if they aren't as much as trouble to obtain than a Divine.

I suppose I'll kill Frost Dragons while merchanting on the side for a more relaxed and constant method of making cash. Can anyone give me some pointers on merchanting, the rares market and confirm whether or not this is the best path to go? Thanks.

Elysian is around 1.1b street and Divine is around 1.6 or 1.7b. Both are hard to obtain either way, unless you have partyhats or other high street valued items. Obviously their grand exchange price isn't very different.

You could try merchanting frost dragon bones? You have to get familiar with item(s) and now how you can flip them :).

I think it's a lot easier to snipe an ely than a div on GE

I would just try your luck at Corp. I mean, with the insane street price, chances of sniping are probably lower than just going to Corp. PLus, why waste your high stats?

Dungeoneering isn't a skill.

I'm faster than bots at Sorceress Garden.

PM me if you want to chat. My PM is always off.
