Also, I ask in advance if we can please keep it civil and avoid the flaming. I'm sure many of you on this forum watched Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers, probably as kids. What does that have to do with this topic, you might ask? Well... it is the reason behind the topic title. Jason David Frank, who played Tommy the green ranger/white ranger, had since gone on to pursue other interests in real life. Hes an accomplished martial artist who owns his own dojo, he is into mixed martial arts, and as I found out... owns his own MMA clothing apparel line entitled "Jesus Didn't Tap". Unlike the Pink Ranger (who was on Felicity, annoyed the hell out of me, and then disappeared) and the Red Ranger (who apparently is doing porn now), Jason has chosen to pursue a career outside of the entertainment industry. He has become a Christian and is also a huge fan of MMA (mixed martial arts). He calls himself a “fighter-entrepreneur for Jesus.” His awesomely titled company, Jesus Didn’t Tap, sells T-shirts, sweatshirts, gloves, shorts, and more. (Side note: does anyone know what a “rash guard” is?) From the official site, which really likes to emphasize that fight a dude/fight for Jesus metaphor, or, as I like to say, beats it into the ground: When Jesus stepped inside the cage of life to take on the cross, human legs did not kicked his out from under him. It was not human hands that broke his arm during the arm bar of adversity. It was not a human fist that knocked him to the mat for our sins. Used to love the original power ranges back when the humor was at least original. He had his first professional fight less than two weeks ago, august 4th against Jose Vasquez, which he also won. Someone posted the fight on youtube: (part 1 - 9:25 length) (part 2 - 3:47 length) Annoying camera movement aside, you can see the fight. He won in 46 seconds. Oh and I should add by submission.
