just click the bottom x with the last o. ITS EZY :o this way the material never moves to the last string. if ya add please give cred i made this when i started fletchin (around 80 now)

Great guide, however I feel that two things can be corrected.

 

 

 

Firstly, I prefer to have the strings/unstrungs/logs in the bottom right instead of the top, to reduce mouse movement. Also bottom right is sort of a "default" for my hands.

 

 

 

Secondly, if you're doing 14 bows/unstrungs (fastest way IMO, for obvious reasons), have the bow on the second-lowest spot on the rightmost column. This way, the distance you have to move your mouse from material is reduced, all you have to do is move the mouse down and click (down is easier than left or right for me), and there is less of a chance of you "missing" the second material. I know when I did it left-to-right, I sometimes sped my pace up, which resulted in me not moving my mouse far enough to one side to click the material.

Exactly, it's in the archive of wisdom and there's really no need to bump this old topic and it already is basically stickied.

Very interesting, although you are not accounting for the time to set up the strings and bows as such.

 

 

 

What is the fastest way to get the strings, other than buying them? The Gnome Stronghold? Seer Village? Inquiring minds want to know!

hmm I wouldn't do the double clicknig not good for you lol and I don't think its that much faster either (and I did a lot of bows, currently 16.3 mill fletch xp :P)

Could i have a little closer info why the double clicking isn't good? It's twice as fast, you have to move your mouse less.

just in time for fletching! I have like 18k bows to make and this helps it go alot faster thanks.

I feel this needs a small bump so more people can see it.. Not everyone goes to the Archive of Wisdom :wink:

Oh, I'd like to add something new.

 

 

 

Due to todays update with the game engine, bowstringing has become A LOT faster, because the bank now opens within a millisecond from when you click it. I'll try to make a new personal stringing record today, see if I can do over 3500 :D
