Well Theres the armour i have atm i also have 2-3mill cash sitting in my bank im wondering what boss/activity i could/should kill/do i am willing to buy different armour but not sell the sgs (for the time being)

 

SGS is about to rise so i bought it and while i have it i might as well use it, stats in the sig.

i did it like 2 min after i posted lol ive been here long enough to realize it takes a lil bit.

Your prayer level is lowish, your ranged level as well, your defence and your attack are not ideal, and you can't cast charge. This makes DKS and TDS less good (as you need good magic/range for them). Without piety you'll never manage to get a kill at Bandos GWD, you can't range Kree, Zilyana has too high defence to solo, Kril would be doable but dangerous and unprofitable. Corp... no question. That leaves the KBD, Mole, Chaos Elemental and Kalphite Queen. I suggest you do the KBD for black dragon slayer tasks and the queen for kalphite tasks, get 70 prayer and 85+ atk/def/range/mage then ask again.

I was looking to actually use the sgs so kree tds zilyana and corp were pretty out of the question anyway. ehh mybe ill just go barrows unless i get a better idea

Did you not read the entire post i said im waiting for it to rise which it is about to so until then i figured id use it, theres plenty of places gs's are useful for me. barrows chaos dwarf battlefield bgw and zgw, and also did i say i was going to solo what i was gonna kill? its not that hard to find a decent team to duo/trio cs

ill get herb on the bonus weekend probly but i didnt really ask this because i wanted to range/mage i asked it cuz i wanted to know where sgs is best. that being said why would i get 85 mage if ur gonna go higher then ice blitz you might as well get venge

I'd say with the bonus xp weekend on the horizon, rising is the last thing the SGS is about to do.

no, its as high priced as it is because of the supply and the demand of the item. the price is really a silly justification of its usefulness. it was useful for a while before summoning came out but now as far as boss fighting goes its beat in every category, sorry. EE seriously has an advantage over it in most situations.

 

i guess you could use it for barrows or slayer, though runescape has evolved past the peak usefulness of the weapon.

If you want a Godsword just to have a Godsword, buy a BGS. The spec is the only one that's actually unique and doesn't have a good alternative. SGS has EE and Soul Split, AGS has Claws, and ZGS has Ice Spells.

 

Plus, I don't think any of them are going to be on the rise now that double xp weekend has been announced.

Be sure to get your offers in for herbs and secondaries as soon as possible.

 

I'm pretty sure almost everything is already bought out right now ( bye bye free 30-40m :[ ), so you might need to resort to sniping, or overpaying like hell right before/during the exp weekend.

I love how naive high level players can be, a godsword is a godsword, and don't act like it isn't. Runescape is more than math and no lifeing, if you have a Sgs go whoop some ass. Just do what is fun, I would do gwd with friends because a godsword and 96 strength is better than these haters want to accept.

 

As for herb lore is isn't effective until you can make extremes, and even then they aren't really that much better than super pots. (unless you want to try and get 96 herb for overload, but that just isn't realistic)

 

Since you have 60 prayer I would buy a lot of bones. For what you could normally pay for 70 prayer you can get 75 instead. Just have fun, runescape is a video game not a job and i get sick when people take it this seriously...

a gs is just a gs tbh its 2 lucky drops and doing gwd with it is kinda expected but you cant do that for more then a couple hours w/o getting bored or world hopping/ not getting drops

Agree 100%. If you REALLY want a GS, just get a BGS and save yourself some money. If you have a SGS and only 60 prayer, that needs to be fixed to not having a SGS and getting at least 70 prayer.
