Depends on what you are looking for in slayer, if it's fastest xp with cannon etc, it's likely sumona/chaeldar, if you want longer tasks and higher level/better drop monsters, it's duradel/lapalok. Theres really no ''one size fits all'' until kurdal.

We had a thread on this while back... basically you block what annoys you. I personally don't block or skip any tasks (as a personal challenge, it's not efficient). Slow tasks include metal dragons (except mithril, as you get only a few of those per task); unprofitable tasks include black demons.

With a cannon that's a lovely amount, it runs out too soon.

I personally think blocking what you don't enjoy doing makes the most sense as slayer is bound to get monotonous in a while. If you get to kurdal you get almost enough points(28 per task on average) to cancel as many tasks as you do, so blocking the most frequent+ annoying tasks will make sense(for best xp+drops, but some people have other strategy's).

Personally, I enjoy everything but Kalphites and Blue Dragons. The rest are a-ok.

I say block kalphites. They have no drops, no charms, and there are much better tasks to cannon if you're going to cannon. I mean, unless you really like fighting the KQ, I guess.

I block black demons because I can't stand them and Suqahs because they are so annoying to do, Terror Dogs and Kalphites will be on my list once I get them.

How can anyone hate Suqahs? Go to the south of the island in a little area with two spawns, make sure auto-retaliate is on, go make a sandwich and come back when the task is done. If you're really ambitious you can check the piles of bones for clue scrolls every once in a while.

Well maybe not quite that easy, but I'm not really exaggerating very much either.

That's the slow way to kill them, better off cannoning the ones just northeast of the bank.

Suqah tasks are generally short, boring and unfulfilling. If you cannon them they provide an okay, yet not amazing exp rate. All comes down to preference, I guess.

Block what annoys you, but be reasonable. Black demons, for example, are a great task and are always worth doing.

I would keep black demons, they drop lots of crims. Terrorbirds are annoying enough to block but tortoises are pretty lucrative, so might want to keep them at least. Consider blocking steels/wyverns

Actually terrorbirds are a very good task; they pay for the prayer potions, have lowish defence and high health, they're agressive and in a multicombat area with several spawns quite close. It's the tortoises that are slow, because of the lousy 2 spawns you're stuck with.
