No more TETAU events for me I guess lol. I didn't go much to the events anyway, so whatever. Still, it was nice when I could go, and now I can't at all :(

Skype is in no way a requirement to join TETAU :o, it's just an easy way to come in contact with other TET members other than ingame.

Also, I believe the Live Chat/IRC *points to the button* is made use of sometimes. Skype (the text based skype, voice was just for fun when I was there) is just the most connivenent method of communication. [/old timer]

Indeed, Skype is used by a lot of TET members, but it isn't the necessity. :) There are of course the forums, clan chat and IRC that can be used.

Notifications should be sent when the Applications close and we have reached a consensus on every application ;)

This update obviously isn't very good for those in the United States; the former AU event time for me was 12 AM, but now it's 4 AM, which basically means I'm not going to go to any further AU events.

 

Obviously, one person's opinion isn't going to change anything, but I decided to provide my input anyway in case it can contribute collectively.

 

Also, if the new time doesn't work out and the old times ever return in the future, I will most likely apply to be a TETAU event staff member.

I hated the times that were before this, for similar reasons. But I guess TETAU is for Australians, not just as secondary TET events. I'm hoping the new TETAU times will mean I can make it, but it's very possible I'll be lying in on Saturdays :P
