Surge box

Featured Replies

Surge box, the in-Damonheim one. This is probably a futile question, but does anyone know if there's any particular floor or setting or something that makes it easier to get one?

Probably not, but it's worth a shot >.<

Buying spins make you a bad person...don't do it. It's like buying nukes for North Korea.

Well if it bothers you that the game is more fun now, then you can go cry in a corner. :shame:

Dragonkin Journals :: Ports Stories :: Elder Chronicles :: Boss Slayer :: Penance King :: Kal'gerion Titles :: Gold Statue

You need high-levelled mages, so I'd try 5:5 c1 or so.

Why? as far as i can tell, 5:5 large occult floors are flooded with celestial mages, and they are the ones most likely to drop them. Not to mention, you wouldn't be losing any xp in the process(as large 5:5 floors are the best for xp aswell).

I'd like an answer to this question too =/ I'm just going through floors on C1 trying to get Forgotten mages, but no drop yet.

Any advice on hunting down a celestial surge box?

One thing I CAN say is you shouldn't do c1, because the mages will probably be too low of a level. Low level mages drop blastboxes. I've seen at least 4 while solo'ing the past couple days.

By the way Ginger, your right, have been solo'ing, but I don't think I actually said I was o.O

Maybe I'll just try to get 5:5 teams and repeated do my occult floor o.O

I meant, if your only goal was to obtain the surgebox, c1 offers a faster succession of kills, and thus drops. Of course if you want the box to improve your overall xp gain, larges are the way to go.

Best philosophy. I wouldn't go out of my way hunting for one. You get one when you get one; that's a path that'll lead to the least regrets.

I'd probably say the stronger the mage, the higher possibly of receiving one, but I'm not sure; couldn't find any information on this. One possibility, though: since the box requires 70 dungeoneering to equip (at least outside), you might wanna do floors that require 70+ dungeoneering to access in order to obtain one. Not sure, though. Good luck!

I've seen three celestial surgeboxes so far. You're best off in a 5:5 large team. Remember that only mages actually wearing a celestial surgebox can drop one.
