Christmas huh

I used to wake up at 4 am running around the house and then sitting under the tree about an hour later waiting for my parents to wake up...

Me too. I think last year or two years ago my family and I went onto the bus for free and toured the city. Some guy tried to pay for the ride :lol:

It is true, when I work (arrange a christmas fair and selling hot dogs there) I meet lots of happy kids with their parents getting bargains from local crafters. :)

I really don't like it. My family gets stressed and pressured, I get bored and depressed, there's nobody to talk to online, few things to do out of the ordinary ... it's just weeks, sometimes months of preperation, for one huge day that celebrates something I don't believe in anymore.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I mean, yeah, seeing my extended family and receiving presents is always good, but a lot of the time it just sucks. The spark has completely gone. I'm not even excited. If I could I'd sleep in until 12 or even later, but I have to have lunch with my grandparents.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I really wish everyone could just boycott Christmas for one year. It'd make everything so much less stressful, and so much more smooth-flowing.

No, that would be...weird :/ I mean here in Sweden it gets so cold and dark when it's winter, and with the Christmas decorations and spirit it really brightens up your days. Chirstmas gives you something to look forward to and be happy about. Yeah, I agree it's stressy and everything when your parents are busy preparing everything, but still, I think it's worth it.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

And to answer the original question, I do get excited about Christmas, because we usually invite people over and the food and the presents.

Well it's nearly Christmas and I still haven't posted my thoughts. I used to get up really early and wake the rest of the family up. Now i'm a teenager so i'm less inclined to do that but i've always been an early riser so if I wake up after 2am in the morning I probably won't get to sleep. I'll have to wake my sisters up, which i'm sure they'll love :P

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I carefully open my presents one by one, i like to appreciate the wrapping :wink:

:( I know how you feel man. But whenever I recieve the gifts, i always feel like their crap and I felt my mom could have done better. But then I always ask God to forgive me for being so selfish and thank him for sending his only son.
