Go explore try out some members skill. Theres no point in going through set motions of tasks people recommend until you get to know the new map expanse etc

Uhhh, lost city quest to get dragon longsword first. The I suggest doing quests until you're 85 combat. This will give you a good amount of experience and unlock a lot of useful things.

At 85 combat do smoking kills and then start slayer.

PM me in game anytime

It's a lot easier then that for an idiot to sound smart on the internet.

That's exactly what you're doing right now... just saying.

Blah. Start slayer now. Try to do a lot of quests. And yeah, lost city for the dragon longsword is a great quest for new members.

Squab unleashes Megiddo! Completed all quests and hard diaries. 75+ Skiller. (At one point.) 2000+ total. 99 Magic.
[spoiler=The rest of my sig. You know you wanna see it.]

my difinition of noob is i dont like u, either u are better then me or u are worst them me

Buying spins make you a bad person...don't do it. It's like buying nukes for North Korea.

Well if it bothers you that the game is more fun now, then you can go cry in a corner. :shame:

your article was the equivalent of a circumcized porcupine

The only thing wrong with it is the lack of a percentage for when you need to stroke it.

Slayer isn't nearly as good without slayer helm or even weapons to slay with. This is why he should at the very least unlock slayer helm and dragon long before starting slayer.

Try and get every members skill to 30.

Priest in peril quest unlocks the eastern side of the map. Id reccomend doing that.

As soon as u can start the second Fairytail quest it unlocks the fairy rings and greatly reduces travelling time

Pm me if you have any questoins, ill try to help :)

Glacors Drops - 33 shards.

Armadyl Drops - 1 Chestplate. 1 Hilt. 2 gloves . 2 Skirts.

I'd go ahead and train up some members stats - some of which are really easy, like fletching..

Then maybe do some quests you meet the requirements for, and that should give you a nice start right there..

And if you have any money, you can always buy yourself some P2P armour - and have some fun at a minigame or something. :-P

Hi if you're reading this you are amazing and I love you.

Maybe they'll release a bugless update for April Fools. That'd sure be a joke

slayer is a long road, start slaying now so you have a good headstart on smoking kills. slayer helm is just blk mask with def bonus for melee. do smoking kills asap tho.

Thanks for everything, and all your help people :)

But I have another problem... I don't know how to make money (*duh*). I never knew a way how to do it... and I heard it takes alot of time to make it, and I don't have enough patience to repeat the same crap to get money everyday... this is the most stressing part of the game.

You forget the mask, slayer is still good with just the mask. But yes, get a dragon longsword first.

PD: Oh, and I just have 1650k :(

1650 k is enough to do all the dailies you have available to you. Search for laura's guide in the general guides section of these forums. I would guess with how limited your travel options will be right now you'd have maybe 400 k profit/day available to you (this is through buying stuff from shops and selling it on the ge for profit).

After that I recommend working on unlocking the skill/quest recommendations in her guide to unlock more profit/day (dailies max at about 1.3 mil a day for ~1 hours of work).

Then aim for 38 farming. This can be done mostly from quests. Easily doable in a day if you are also farm some trees as well. Then start farming toadflax for an addition 400 k per day (4 runs per day, once every hour and a half). These farming runs are a nice break to keep any other training you do from becoming too tedious.

Questing or training your favorite skills after that. Throne of Miscellania and Royal Trouble unlock a passive money making option that brings in an addition 1050 k per week.

Also welcome to P2P and these forums!

I'd suggest you dungeoneer, get a scroll of cleansing, and make some unfinished pots.

Really good money.

I'd recommend some exploring of the new map.

Doing quests to unlock new areas (eastern lands, desert, lost city) and transportation methods (grand tree, fairy ring) will give you an incentive to train specific skills to specific levels.

Just enjoy. Wander around. Don't worry about money, as the 1.5M you currently have is sufficient for the short term at least. Get a Dragon longsword, DDS, and I think you already have some decent melee/ranged armour.

Enjoy!

Dragon dagger super poison, and my advice for you just starting members is to explore and have fun just doing anything you come across. Try walking from Fally to the far west of the land, make sure not to bring anything you don't want to loose (just in case)

Welcome to a (much) bigger world I hope you enjoy it as much as we all do =D

Extra note: Don't feel obliged to get right into training and money making, that will come with time and it may become a grind. Just bank all your stuff and walk. Look at your map and set a marker (double click on a spot) to where you want to end up and just head there. Look at and attempt things on your way and once you get there, have another look at the map and see where else you would like to go. I would recommend aiming to get to the "Tree Gnome Stronghold" to the very west of the map and start agility at the beginners course there.

Have fun!! =D

Ahh i remember how exciting it was first playing P2P!

My suggestion would be to do priest in peril, then wander around where you think looks cool. Do quests you come across, quests in rs is almost always worth it so don't think too much about that. As said, get a Dragon Longsword and super poisioned Dragger Dagger. Enjoy your time!

1 D Med - 1 D Dagger
1 Verac's Helmet - 1 Guthan's Platebody

Thanks for all the help, but I am still very confused, I don't know where to travel, do, buy, sell, walk, quest, level. Everything. I just believe that I can't do anything in this game.

And what its DDS?

Dragon dagger super poisoned..

or "dragon dagger P++" like jagex forced us to call it.

First they came to fishing

and I didn't speak out because I wasn't fishing

Then they came to the yews

and I didn't speak out because I didn't cut yews

Then they came for the ores

and I didn't speak out because I didn't collect ores

Then they came for me

and there was no one left to speak out for me.

PD: Oh, and I just have 1650k :(

I'd recommend by starting out with farming (I'd go plant hops, and some low level herbs at catherby, ardounge, and port sarim), because down the line herb runs will make a very nice profit for such little effort - and I'd also do some easier members quests, that will benefit you in the long run; like getting the dragon longsword and dagger unlocked.

With your lower stats (no offence) I'd say you should then do some slaying, because you'll get your melees up (or range/mage if you use those during a task), as well as hitpoints, slayer, and you'll be getting charms for summoning.. it's a complete win-win kinda thing, and you'll be making a bit of cash.

As for making money in general, you could try;

  • Killing chaos druids for herbs
  • Spinning flax into bowstrings
  • Doing low level clue scrolls
  • Buying bagged plants (1) from the gardener in falador and selling them in the G.E
  • Tanning cowhides
  • Complete "Tower of Life" and kill unicows
  • Killing flesh crawlers in the Security Stronghold
  • Mining pure essence

I could probably think of more if you'd want more ideas.

Btw- If you have any other questions, post them here and I'll answer them for you.
