Hav0c0wnz
is zerker really that much better than warrior and is it worth it? i know everyone loooves str bonus, but is it significantly better than hitting more often for slayer?
ghjkl
yes a zerker ring will speed you up approximately 1.5%
K4ylan
Zerker does affect your DPS more than warrior. Warrior provides a negligible amount of accuracy versus the str bonus of a zerker. ~~~The Harpy List~~~Harpy Facts~~~It's Super Effective~~~The Beginning~~~Harpy Therapy Center~~~Alg~~~Jedi Harpy~~~Rohirrim~~~Attenuation~~~
Nifflin
That being said, warriors is still a good alternative. It depends on what other gear you have as to which ring you really should use. PM me in game anytime It's a lot easier then that for an idiot to sound smart on the internet. That's exactly what you're doing right now... just saying. Lose No Hope
Most slayer monsters have low defence so the slight accuracy bonus doesnt make much of a difference. SirIzenhime
The warrior will only make you hit less 0s. And ONLY benefits slashing weapons. It's useless on tasks like Waterfiends and dragons, where you aren't slashingThe zerker will raise your average hit on Every hit you do. It can be used on ALL slayer tasks, with little to no drawback. Unless you're hitting 20 0's per 1 hit (probably even more then that), the zerker is going to help you out much more. Quyneax
Warrior = zerker in dps increase when your accuracy with warrior is 50%. E.g. if you brought your whip to mithril dragons it'd be as good. On most slayer monsters you will have higher accuracy, and on the few you don't (black/iron/steel/mithril dragons mostly) you should be using stab attacks, where the warrior doesn't work (and once you get a chaotic rapier, well, bye warrior). A berserker ring is also about as costly as a torso if you make money through green dragons or so (and can be resold, should you be in a cashflow crisis) and is much cheaper than Bandos. Finally, the berserker ring can be imbued for 4 more strength, which is both a waste of time and really nice. If you get it around 80 melees it'll save you ~6 hours to 99 melees and boost your overall dps after that as well. The Observer
ferocious ring is best. When doing Slayer in Kuradel's dungeon, this would be the best option. Adds 40 attack damage to every attack (unless you miss of course) only in that dungeon. (Also gives a teleport to Kuradel by using one of the ring's charges.) If you want to get one for those tasks, they're untradeable and have to get them by slaying monsters in that dungeon.

If you want to get one for those tasks, they're untradeable and have to get them by slaying monsters in that dungeon.Just to put it in perspective: 40 "extra" damage, would be on average the same as an increase of "80" from maximum damage..To increase your hit by "80", you have to increase your strength by 24. So ferocious ring would be equal to a ring which boosts strength by 24. This just shows how good that ring is! The strength ring would increase your maximum hit by "10" (normally). This means that your average hit would be "5" higher than normally. Quyneax
Depending on your setup +4 strength bonus is 11-12 higher max (higher with void, even). Otherwise pulli is quite correct. The fact that it is minimum damage also means less overkill loss than +20 str bonus (theoretical benefit, but it sounds fun :P). I also remember the ferocious ring working as a ring of wealth in Kuradal's dungeon... ah, scratch that, it's a ring of life. When it activates it takes you to Kuradal.
