Crimson Raiders Turn 6

2011 has arrived, January 2011 and this week means Crimson Raiders 6th Birthday. As the game has evolved so has the clan itself seeing many changes and fresh new faces amongst the oldies that seem prehistoric. CR is not like every other clan we may get new members here and there but the clan itself its of an older generation and with higher maturity basically because of our age group and the expectation of behaving mature resinated amongst us all. But CR has a long history and tradition with people working together and simply having fun, some might say Runescape is not fun and no one has any motivation to play, but if that were true you wouldnt be here still talking to members and still playing a game you believe you once loved, instead its become more of a social network like facebook, myspace etc because its all just about talking to other people with common interests and the common interest in this circumstance is Runscape and Crimson Raiders which hold us together till this day.

Crimson Raiders first opened about seven years ago then was open for a duration of a few months but both leaders fell into real life obligations and had to quit but after a year, six years ago, we re-opened. Since then we have been crawling up the list from the old wild, to multi bh, to single bh, to clan wars, to the current state of the wild. Going from an RSB clan into what we are today. From being ranked in the 70s for a good year then moving to the 50s and holding our spot in the top 15 for the past 18 months. It has been a tough effort with its up and downs like every clan has, but we are proud of our accomplishments. Since our creation we have had over 5,000 members call Crimson Raiders their home and most have moved on with their lives but still about 120 remain including retired.

Thankfully Cr was created on the basis of community so the old members like Luke, Suhhus, Eddie, Parsh, Skittle, Dom and all these people have stayed around for their friendships as well as their clan. This game as we call it has become much more and we value each other as people rather than just three ops to every event. Clans like this do not exist so much today but I am proud to have led Cr for so many years. Unfortunately for the past six months I have been inactive due to college but Cr is still in the good and dirty hands of rocky, Parsh, and Frenchfry so I am pleased. We may not be as strong as we were in the summer, but we are still all proud to be in the clan. We do not know what 2011 holds in store for us, but as always, we will be ready to fight and more especially have fun and enjoy our time on this game we call Runescape.

Its been a pleasure leading this clan for 5.5 years and inactive or not, its been a pleasure to lead you guys. Keep it up everybody!
