I've killed about 80+ of the damn things so far, every dungeon I've been on not one has dropped a god damn silk hood. this floor we found 5: NONE dropped. February 27, 201115 yr I've seen some 30 or so. Only two have ever dropped hoods. One of those two was the first one I ever saw. I feel really sorry for everyone who's gone through anything more than I. Keep going man, you'll get one eventually. #KERR2016/17/18/19/20/21. #rpgformod
February 27, 201115 yr besides hood only teams, I don't really see them as that big of a deal. I mean sometimes you'll go into a "hoodsafe" GD and get piled, but usually your team will share some food and you can pray up and it doesn't make a difference. DK drops (solo/LS): 66 hatchets, 14 archer rings, 13 berserker rings, 17 warrior rings, 12 seerculls, 13 mud staves, 7 seers ringsQBD drops: 1 kite, 2 visages, 4 dragonbone kits, 3 effigies, lots of crossbow partsCR vs. CLS threads always turn into discussions about penis size....It's not called a Compensation Longsword for nothing.I've sent a 12k combat mission to have Aiel assassinated (poor bastard isn't even Pincers-tier difficulty).

February 27, 201115 yr I got my hood at 91 dungeoneering. Just keep at it. At the very least, you learn to lure and safespot like a pro, and when you finally get your hood you'll be less inclined to bind a platebody at 100+ because you'll be so used to being a meat-shield. ;) To put it bluntly, [bleep] off.
February 27, 201115 yr I got one at like 65 dg and personally had 2 drops by now (88 dg) so I really don't know what it feels like. Three months banishment to 9gag is something i would never wish upon anybody, not even my worst enemy.

February 27, 201115 yr I spent a lot of time researching this problem. What I've found is that they are "most" commonly found in floors 30-35. Some people believe it's worth the time to solo C6 these floors repeatedly until you get one. That's the only "range" I've found where these things pop up the most, or just what all of the help threads I've read on this. Personally, I got mine in a solo F20 or something like that. February 28, 201115 yr I have a friend that killed around 65 spiders before seeing a hood drop, just keep at it really. And to be honest I havent actually seen one dropped for the last 15m DG xp.
February 28, 201115 yr Still don't have one at level 88 - lost track of the spiders by now. Only been in a dungeon once where one was dropped, and someone else grabbed it. That was back when I was like 60 something, before hoods were even the standard 2nd bind.
