Tim Posted February 27, 2011 Share Posted February 27, 2011 Okay, so I'm about to close in on 72 Dungeoneering once I finish this floor, but one thing is irritating me: NIGHT SPIDERS! I've killed about 80+ of the damn things so far, every dungeon I've been on not one has dropped a god damn silk hood. this floor we found 5: NONE dropped. I know all my friends who dunge either have one of have been in a dunge floor where someone got one. not me. I feel really sorry for everyone who's gone through anything more than I. I mean sometimes you'll go into a "hoodsafe" GD and get piled, but usually your team will share some food and you can pray up and it doesn't make a difference. DK drops (solo/LS): 66 hatchets, 14 archer rings, 13 berserker rings, 17 warrior rings, 12 seerculls, 13 mud staves, 7 seers ringsQBD drops: 1 kite, 2 visages, 4 dragonbone kits, 3 effigies, lots of crossbow partsCR vs. CLS threads always turn into discussions about penis size....It's not called a Compensation Longsword for nothing.I've sent a 12k combat mission to have Aiel assassinated (poor bastard isn't even Pincers-tier difficulty). At the very least, you learn to lure and safespot like a pro, and when you finally get your hood you'll be less inclined to bind a platebody at 100+ because you'll be so used to being a meat-shield. ;) To put it bluntly, [bleep] off. Bassy Posted February 27, 2011 Share Posted February 27, 2011 I spent a lot of time researching this problem. What I've found is that they are "most" commonly found in floors 30-35. Some people believe it's worth the time to solo C6 these floors repeatedly until you get one. That's the only "range" I've found where these things pop up the most, or just what all of the help threads I've read on this. Personally, I got mine in a solo F20 or something like that. Only been in a dungeon once where one was dropped, and someone else grabbed it. That was back when I was like 60 something, before hoods were even the standard 2nd bind.
