Riku3220 Posted February 14, 2009 Share Posted February 14, 2009 I had the best Blod Harvest versus match ever! And it wasn't just one team dominating the other. we were pretty equal. You see they had beat us pretty badly in the 1 chapter but they didn't get over 100. In the 2nd chapter they make it to the end with 3 people with a horrible health bonus and we make it to the end in all green. In 3rd they take the lead by 500 points. In 4th we got a Tank by that 3 story house and instead of rushing them he just lobbed rocks. We ended up taking the lead by 1000 points! Then the finale..... I'm fairly sure a few bad words isn't going to matter when one of your friends just died to a horde of zombies.... On another note I had the most awesome game last night. On NM2 the other team tried running out of the door but I grabbed Zoey as she zoomed out and the othe 3 get blasted back into the saferoom by the Boomer that dropped down. Distracted by the vomit and the zombies the others didn't go back for Zoey leaving me to drop her health from 100% to dead; It takes exactly 31 hits to to that with the smoker tounge. With 1 survivor dead and the other 3 below half health we ended up killing them for a grand total of.... 2. It's always a great feeling to completely dominate another team because your own team is playing very well together. 5k zombies away from ZG. And I can't even remember what maps I've done on Expert. It is however good to note that more 'decent' and 'knowledgeable' players log on on weekends because of their jobs freeing up. This means you have decent players forming their own games together and then opening it up to the public. This couldn't happen as regularly as it does on the weekdays because they're working or have something else to do. But when their time is open, which is the weekends they come together and own together. There's always a consistent average of decent players playing, but the average isn't constant. How does one enable the subtitles?Would be interesting not to play by ear for a change. 53675 was because Dead Rising required one to kill 53674, Valve made it +1 which could possibly be meaning that Left 4 Dead is better than Dead Rising. Go to options and turn subtitles on to "Full Captions". Though it can't benefit the entire time if everyone is using them. The detail & clarity in sound is increased drastically with headsets though. Still no match for the all powerful, all seeing, NINJA TANK! For example: Was playing a local game and if you spawn a tank in a closet that you're two feet away from, there's no music, unless you open the door, which activates the tank. Fell for this in Death Toll 4, where you make the van go through the fence to get into the luggage compartments. That closet totally pwned me twice, then a tank spawned in the luggage area during the panic event because I activated it by going past that fence line. Game hated me. >:( You are awesome dude. Good luck on getting 100% achievements. Lol, thanks - one thing about the achievements is that most of them aren't particularly hard. Majorityo f the time screwing up is due to either one of these random bullcrap things: - Tanks - Witches - Bots being bots - Getting frustrated - Getting distracted in real life Those were my biggest gripes that I had while playing.
