^ What? It's free, so it's great for those who do not have enough for an initial amount for the investment required for a BCP.

Unless you already have the Torso, or just REALLY like BA, the torso isn't worth it. The time it takes to get the torso could be used to make money to buy better gear.

So you're saying if you already have a torso, it's worth it to get another one?

That just makes no sense.

...if you already have it...then you don't need to get it...so then it'd be worth it to use.

You're providing juxtaposing antithetical statements.

You missed the UNLESS word, buddy. Here, let me explain it to you in lamens terms.

If he has torso, it's worth it. If he does NOT have torso, it is not worth it. Make sense yet?

Yes, there you go.

Next time, try to not use double negatives.

Where did I use double negatives? You seem to be the only person that got confused, as I stated it very clearly the first time. Double negatives means that there are two negative words in the same sentence...

I'm pretty sure a comma separating two parts of a sentence doesn't count as two separate sentences.

I just want to expand my knowledge, for I fail to understand his reasoning.

I'm sorry Quyneax - but I couldn't resist.

Vulxai is using the comma to set off parenthetical elements

Meaning: "Unless you already have the Torso, or just REALLY like BA, the torso isn't worth it. " can also be read "Unless you already have the Torso, the torso isn't worth it."

Either way, since when was grammar such a large part of Tip.it forums that you felt the need to correct (although you were incorrect ironically) a non-existent mistake?

Are you trying to wage a war on all of the internet?

EDIT: I PROMISE not to reply on a thread Amitoz has replied to from now on :/

A use of parenthesis would have played a much better role in this grammatical situation.

I thought that's what grammar was there for? To provide a sense of structure, so that ideologies could be better understood? THATSWHYNOONETYPESLIKETHISFORITPROVIDESADIFFICULTSTRUCTUREINWHICHTHEREADERCANOBSERVEANDCOMPREHENDSAIDIDEOLOGIES.

Ok, i have vercas skirt and working on slayer points and dung. What else?

For a long-term goal, you could aim for 88 herblore for extreme atk and def pots. They greatly aid a slayer. You should ultimately, in prayer, aim for turmoil as it boosts tremendously and is also drains prayer slower than Piety. Until then, however, stick to regular prayer book. 88 summoning is great, but not required in slayer as a bunyip is plenty for most tasks. If you want, you can get a berserker ring (i) by playing Mobilizing Armies. Speaking of berserker ring, get one as soon as you are able to, along with a fury of course. A fire cape is also beneficial to have as it gives +2 prayer, +4 str, +1 to all offense and +11 to all defense.

Really? Cause as I recall it was you who was the one cussing me at base. Also, re-read what you just said: one 15 second delay (which is an exaggeration to begin with) ruins floor times? You are beyond ridiculous.

Get 70/75/80 ranged, 75 def, and 60 prayer.

I'm sorry, but Vulxai said the exact same thing both times.

Only difference is adding the clause that "or you really like BA", which, btw, is equally acceptable with parenthesis and commas.

EDIT: On the topic of the torso's defense. Yes, it's nothing spectacular, but coupled with Verac's Skirt, you'll generally get all the defense you'll need for melee slayer, provided you have bunyip. It won't do anything at boss monsters though, except maybe TDS, where you could argue using it if you didn't have void.

Of course, when I was melee slaying with my torso, I was just about maxed melee, so take this with a grain of salt.

You can do it with that range level, but it will be slow and painful.

A higher prayer level would also be MUCH more desirable, as with your low prayer level now, the potions will not restore that many points, and you'll feel short of prayer the whole way

I'd say wait until 70+ range and 70+ prayer (both for piety and more restoration from potions) before trying the fight cave.

In fact, if you're good at understanding tactics (like kiting), all you're missing is the prayer. The fight cave is quiet fast with melee compared to range at any level. All you'd really need is an Enhanced Excaliibur or SGS to keep you alive assuming you don't mess up too often.

If i can't get the fire cape yet what cape should i wear?

Use void (get it if you have to) and knives on yaks or chins on skeletal monkeys. Use prayer and potions, too.
