against autoers? mark them!

Featured Replies

some1 said this in another thread, but every lvl 3-30 who looks like their autoing with aryan or whatever, throw a gnome ball at them. ive seen at least 5 low lvls today with gnomeballs running back and forth today.

its really funny, and i think if you saw some lvl 3 running around with a gnome ball something MAY be up especially if a vast majority of them were running back and forth from the flax field, or catherby fishing spots

its highly unlikely they did the gnomeball course.

also if you look up the highscores, autoers are gettin stats up high and fast, i THINK these 4 people auto simply because of their names "uselob" "uselobs" "usecook" "usecooking" simply because their cookin rank is all nearly the same and their names are all very close in nature to the cooking skill. all i know is that 1 of them had some suspicious movements when cooking, repeated movements delayed reactions to doors closing, withdrawing food took a long time

Great idea :P

Yeah, i didn't see the names... those noobs are definitely autoers.

still, i have seen noobs who "recieved" a gnomeball that treat them as their pride and joy. A noobish status symbol if you will.

do your part, if you notice low lvl characters doing suspicious repeated actions, mark them. and report them if it becomes beyond a reasonable doubt they are autoing

Cool idea, but wouldn't you then have to repeatedly go back to Gnome Tree Stronghold and continuously get gnomeballs? Oh nevermind sorry I egt it now lol, but I don't want to backspace my precious words :P

Thats an awesome idea.

I think I was there when that pic was taken, as I was wondering why all these low levels that look similar were wandering around with things on their hands...

Raichase, quit Runescape.

Time issues really, nothing against the game itself. Something had to go, and it happened to be the addictive game that costs money to enjoy :)

Best of luck to all of my friends here!

i wish i had a gnome ball i was chopping magics south of seers and there was atleast 4 or 5 lvls 20-30 autoing

what has the game come to :(

That's damn good. I'mma try it sometime soon.

Very good idea, I might do this next time I see an autoer.

Anyone at Manchester University PM me

Hehe, about 3 people at catherby with low levels, fishing sharks, with a gnome ball stuck to them :).

Er, wait ... where's the Gnome Ball on the second guy? The one who has his harpoon in the water?

Interesting idea:)

I like people to be vigilant against Autoers as they can ruin a game. The thing that annoys me is that I spent a few days feltching yew logs and high alching the bows and I had 10+ people come and talk to me and then because i did not reply fast enough, say that they had reported me!

This really annoyed me and worried me that people could base you auto'ing like that.

It should not be that all people have to reply to someone walking by saying 'hi' for fear of a report :(

But this idea is very good.

- My skills are now really, really lame ! Time to fix that! -

That's a great idea :D Another thing is to teleother them because it gets in their way and sometimes they even accept it... we did it at the Fishing Guild.

ok heres wut ya do.....do yall know that gnome place with the yews and the magics? well if u got west enough there is a semi unknown place for 1 magic tree an auto will have to go through a gate to get to the tree...simply close the gate before he can go through his auto will bug out and run around in cricles r0flmao..then u know they r an auto...or u can trade with the nubs and be like "heres 50m take it!' but they keep on walking

lol nice idea but when scripters start detecting that, they probly edit the script so that it drops gnomeballls then :D

Does the gnomeball impede them in any way?

Or is it just to mark them out?

Either way, its a great idea and hopefully Jagex can bear it in mind. However i'm not suggesting Jagex ban anyone with a gnomeball, because it's a legitimate item, but if we set the trend it may be an informal Auto'ing alert.

Yeah I saw a guild of ppl that go around doing this and ruining autoers, lol.

Combat 116+; Total 1900+; All Hard Tasks; (Nearly) All quest points; (Nearly) All skills 60+; An aquatic moose ninja.

Currently: Using 63 hunter to get some of those "Chins", then I'm going to range stuff down. Interruptions of agility when I feel like it, as well.

And lucky enough to get 4 Dragon and 6 Barrow Drops.

[hide]Kwimbob now looks exactly like me in real life except for hair color. Yes, this means I look exactly like the protagonist of that certain anime that my second character, Faye_V is also named after. Yes, I bought a jacket that also looks like his. No in real life I don't have a slain bear to sling over my shoulders. Yes, I'm that skinny even if I no-life it for years in basements. No, I can't shoot a gun. Yes, I can win any other strategic video game you have never played - because I probably have, ahahaha. And yes, I also have brown eyes, yet one of my eyes looks different from the other. And yes, I'm completely oblivious to the [real] world around me as I constantly engineer new solutions to daily problems in my head. When I get hungry, all that isn't food can wait. When I'm sleepy - nothing is of any priority in front of sleep. But at any other time, I never slow down. Never give up. Never Surrender. Makes for a good life.

Autoing is out of control. Jagex needs to do something..

(Admin edit: picture removed since it broke the no-naming rule!)

lol it works i threw 3 @ people

theres 5 autoers here all with 82+ fishing only

-mega-

Good idea. But i dont agree with throwing it at every low lvl with a high skill that doesnt answer. Nor do i think that autoers ruin the game or something. Thats just plain stupid to say that.

LOL what a great idea. Is there an easier way to get gnome-balls tho?
