Questions about hexhunter bow

Ooh. How much more effective will hex be now?

Faster, higher hits. :P I think Michael or Andy have already hit the proposed max on a t11 mage that we had been looking for for weeks and weeks when we were first testing sniper vs. desp.

So far I've hit 400+ on T11 mages, I'd like for other Hexhunter owners to post their maxes here.

I hit a 385 on a skele mage. A skele mage!!

Sad that I don't get a ring reset so I can get my tokens back from sniper.

If you use a tier 11 forgotten mage as a measure.

New desperado is +10% damage output over previous desperado

and new desperado is +6% damage output over sniper.

This delta is smaller for lower level mages, and higher for things like bosses.

Agh, wish I'd known about this update earlier, just finished a few floors i'd been using sniper for. Glad to hear they've updated it. I'm still waiting on Sagg arrows, I've decided to camp floors 36-38 for all my occults as it seems most likely I'll get trio on them seeing as only 3 bosses are available so hopefully I can start posting maxes soon :D

just tossing ideas: but isn't a hex (or any bow for that matter) also strong vs bats? - I know they're weak vs stab and range too.

Also: while desperado might be better now, arrow conservation can still be a problem, especially in case of occults with the chance for a necrolord.

First they came to fishing

and I didn't speak out because I wasn't fishing

Then they came to the yews

and I didn't speak out because I didn't cut yews

Then they came for the ores

and I didn't speak out because I didn't collect ores

Then they came for me

and there was no one left to speak out for me.

Now that you can use desperado, which boosts accuracy, you can now hex skeletal mages without other boosts?

we don't actually know that

1) You didn't test hexing skeletal mages.

2) You didn't test whether desperado boosts accuracy.

Which? (or both lol)

Rocked had suggested to me that you could hex 135 skele mages with leech/range on, no armour. So it could be possible to hex them with a now working desperado. I shall have to get back to you on this.

Nick was hitting in the low 600s with strong ranged pot and t10 desp on flesh spoiler. It's been discussed that a two hex team might be better off doing flesh floors than funderous floors, time-wise, since necro is soloable and flesh is a joke.

Definitely a tossup. Thunderous is soooo fast and even though Necro is soloable, that's one less person in a gd. :/ Flesh maybe, though. We should definitely try it out in any case.
