4 January 2006 - Mage Training Arena

gellan, can I use the info you get for my guide?

Of course - no sense keeping it "secret" :)

--------------------

More Creature Graveyard stuff:

Eating bananas takes forever to heal, as you keep getting hit again.

I prefer to run back to duel arena, and get healed there (for free).

I just did a test to see what happens if you die:

- You do not lose any items

- Your health is fully restored

- You are teleported to outside the Graveyard (but still in the magic training area)

- You lose 10 graveyard pizzazz points

Healing at duel arena takes about 70 seconds to run out, heal, run back. In 70 seconds, I can get 7 or 8 graveyard pizzazz points, so if you are doing a lot of graveyard runs, it is better to heal (losing 70 seconds) than to die (losing 10 points).

Alternatively, if you need other points, do one of the other games until you have your hits back.

Alchemy

If you lag out, you will log back on outside of the area (I think this applies to all 4 games).

If you leave the area without depositing coins, you will lose the coins, and will NOT get point, extra xp or gp into your bank.

You can deposit coins to claim your point/xp/bank gp and then continue, so if you've got a lot of coins, deposit them instead of risking lagging or (*embarrased blush*) forgetting to deposit when you leave.

Mhm.... kewl. I am in for the easy 92 xp onyx enchants xD. Quick way from 93 to 99 mage, though I will probably use a mix of onyx enchants and fire bolts to get hits to at least 92. Great and cheap alternative to alch's and cammy teleports for xp! xD

What does buying "bones to peaches" from the shop do?

I didn't buy it and the spell was green to me (though I didn't try it because it was 2 nats and I didn't want to waste one....)

I'll give you one guess! :P

Green or not, you have to buy it to use it.

I assume the peaches are better health than bananas, and give more points in the graveyard minigame. This isn't confirmed as i don't think anyone has it yet.

I bargained for salvation and they gave me a lethal dose

WOW!!!

When I completed 5 mazes in the Telekenetic theater... I got 8 bonus points!

So... you can get more than 1 bonus point :D

Combat 116+; Total 1900+; All Hard Tasks; (Nearly) All quest points; (Nearly) All skills 60+; An aquatic moose ninja.

Currently: Using 63 hunter to get some of those "Chins", then I'm going to range stuff down. Interruptions of agility when I feel like it, as well.

And lucky enough to get 4 Dragon and 6 Barrow Drops.

[hide]Kwimbob now looks exactly like me in real life except for hair color. Yes, this means I look exactly like the protagonist of that certain anime that my second character, Faye_V is also named after. Yes, I bought a jacket that also looks like his. No in real life I don't have a slain bear to sling over my shoulders. Yes, I'm that skinny even if I no-life it for years in basements. No, I can't shoot a gun. Yes, I can win any other strategic video game you have never played - because I probably have, ahahaha. And yes, I also have brown eyes, yet one of my eyes looks different from the other. And yes, I'm completely oblivious to the [real] world around me as I constantly engineer new solutions to daily problems in my head. When I get hungry, all that isn't food can wait. When I'm sleepy - nothing is of any priority in front of sleep. But at any other time, I never slow down. Never give up. Never Surrender. Makes for a good life.

I find it kind of weird how there are no level requirements for the different wands ...

And only one spell, too. They should at least put in teleother Varrock, for consistancy's sake. Maybe a spell that auto-healed diseased plants would be useful, too; or a spell like "Advanced super-heat item", which, in the case of steel and upwards, halves the amount of coal needed (i.e. same affect as that furnace in Keldagrim).

And to the guy who said rangers deserve more: You have four different levels of special armour, plus snakeskin, normal leather and barrows. You also have six different types of longbows, six shortbows, six arrow types, several special bows, crossbows, four types of crossbow bolts, and probably a few other things I've missed out. I don't really think you should be complaining.

You missed six types of knives and darts.

Oh yeah, and the six throwing axes and javelins too ...

EDIT:

WARNING Enchantment Chamber GP does not have the same value as outside GP

Some players are "selling cheap nats - only 100gp" inside the chamber.

(You CAN trade nats and cash inside the chamber, just not the items from the cupboards)

Assume you bought 30 nats at 100gp each, no free alchs, and alching only '30gp' items:

From 3000gp, you would get

- 30 enchantment points

- 6000 magic xp

- 300gp into your bank

From 30 nats, you would get

- 9 enchantment point

- 3750 magic xp

- 90 gp into your bank

"100gp per nat" may sound cheap, but it's not!

1. It's the alchemy room.

2. That's an incredibly cheap price for nats.

3. You can't take cash into the alchemy room.

Yep :)

You get 2 per maze, and 8 every 5th you finish in a row. If you finish 4 then leave and come back you have to start again.

Don't forget you can throw gnomeballs!

Anyone have information on the robes' stats yet?

If you read my post you will see that the point is:

1) It's the alchemy room.

3) You can't take cash into the alchemy room.

Therefore

2) 100 gp each is an incredibly EXPENSIVE price for nats.

You said it was the enchantment room at first. Enchantment is cosmic runes. Get your facts straight.

Obviously he meant the Alchemy room. No need to be harsh.

I'll wait until people actually acquire the items until I either buy or train in the arena for them. The book looks the most appealing now, so I have my eyes set on that. As for the other items, I doubt I'd have much use for them.

I'm in the process of building my wands. I am getting all wands first, then probably either the book or the spell. So far I am ALMOST to the second wand. If Tip.it would like any pictures or info as I go, just PM me.

Looks like a tiny stick with a leaf on it.

Stats:

+5 magic attack

+5 magic defense

Nobody has the peach spell yet, but I'm guessing they heal 4. Let's see if I'm right.

I don't think that peaches will be worth more points in the graveyard game than bananas, because neither the book or npc's ever say so. It could still be a useful spell for the graveyard, though. Make bananas and dump them down the chutes, and then make a load of peaches just to heal up.

1300+ skill total.

Barrows:Torag's Helm x2, Guthan's Helm, Guthan's Warspear, Dharok's Greataxe, died to dharok, Guthan's Platebody, Ahrim's Hood. All in a total of 104 runs.
