I am not interested in someone telling me that treasure trails is a bad way to make money, or suggest a faster one. All I want is some information.Firstly, How much more worth it is it to do elite rather than hard? I don't mean by the chance that you'll get say, a third-age druidic robe top, but just rather the average money gained from the treasure trail. Is it worth doing the quests and the skills for, or could I make the money from hard's without doing any more quests?Secondly, Where is the best safe place to find hard clue scrolls? When I say safe, I mean you can't be attacked by other players. By best, I mean the quickest.Thirdly, Where is the best dangerous place to find hard clue scrolls? So other players could attack us here, but it's fairly fast to find a CS if they don't.Fourthly, Where is the best place to find elite clue scrolls? Either dangerous or safe, but it's fast. I tried the giant mole, and TBH it was very easy. The only problem was the amount of time it took to kill it. At that rate, if a CS is about a 1/750 drop, it would take forever to get CS's. Swiller2 Posted May 15, 2011 Share Posted May 15, 2011 I used to just do medium clues all day and made some fairly ok money. I would camp Catablepons to get scrolls. Usually got em pretty fast, and mediums never seem to take to long to complete. And with the prices of some god pages you can make out pretty good if you're lucky. I found doing the Mediums with an occasional Hard thrown in to break the monotony a good method. Mediums are, imo only, a decent means of making cash if you stick with them...and I prefer Cockatrice for getting them as I can also sell the miscellaneous drops from that monster as "bonus" cash (especialy Limps). In my experience, Blue Dragons will drop at least one clue a task (~120 dragons). That being said, TTs are not good money. You could make more with Mort Myre Fungus tbh. Quyneax Posted May 15, 2011 Share Posted May 15, 2011 I think elite clues are worth it simple for the lack of Uri's clues - you'll make more money off the loot the monster you are camping for these drops (usually a kind of metal dragon, or strykewyrms on task). I think hard clues aren't so great cash because a) Third-age is too rare and b) Ranger's boots are way above robins and c) easy/medium don't have wilderness clues and are a lot faster to finish.
