What changed that?Ring bonuses. 2hs can get a 10-20% strength bonus on aggressive styles, or a 10-20% attack boost on accurate styles. Spears can't, because they only have controlled and defensive. Do you seriously think a pure that is trying to keep def under 45 is going to use a weapon that gives defence exp no matter how you use it? (defence stance or controlled). 99 HP, Attack, Strength, Defence, Summoning, Ranged, Herblore, Prayer, Agility, Magic, Slayer, Fletching, Fishing, Woodcutting, Mining, and Thieving.
