archimage_a Posted June 21, 2011 Share Posted June 21, 2011 Yeah, it is sort of a 'What the hell' situation. I mean the game should be advance at about 1/5, not 1/20. Would probably make more sense if it was 50 for level 1, 100 for level 2, 200 for level 3, and so on and so forth. Manpower is also rather broken...If I am getting 1 cash and 500 manpower per province then I can build an army at a rate of 10 to 6. Meaning I need 100 cash provinces, but only 60 manpower provinces. And since they both count as the same I am left with 20,000 extra manpower per turn. Would be more sensible to have 1 and 250...since not everything requires manpower, while everything, seemingly, requires money.Also puring armies is not something to be encouraged =P I take full responsibility, because I suggested both systems without fully exploring them. a_bert Posted June 21, 2011 Share Posted June 21, 2011 I've got no idea what's going onafaik I have 0.75*50 = 37.5 cash (since 5x multiplier I have 185???) 0.5*50 = 25 tech -> 125 techs - pls put all in production tx if i have 185 cash and 35000 manpower, a national idea for -25% cost for armies (and +25% dat army) then i can make 24 regiments initially except that would cost like 72000 manpower Instead i make 10 regiments (10k army) which costs me 75 monies. Now Creek has 12 provinces, which means they have 8400 manpower, so at most 2k armies. So I either 1) tell him to give up their land else I will kill them all because they cannot match me or I invade them and take their land, because they are outnumbered 5 to 1. Also, I guess the regional bonuses can be tweeked, but I don't think removal is necessary. Icuownage Posted June 21, 2011 Author Share Posted June 21, 2011 Tech system is staying mildly the same, after checking over some of the figures, even when it doubles you can still keep up rather easily, especially with projects/production levels. As 5 level ups in production = 50*0.1 = 5+ tech a turn, which quickly adds up if you keep going in production. ALSO, no tech at the start, sorry, it just puts people too far ahead. Update in a few hours.
