I don't know about dropped, but they appear on the ground under your gravestone, not losing charges afaik.

What set up do you use for QBD armour-wise (assuming you're of course using your drygore rapier for weapon).

Tetsu with neit :P. One scroll away from seasinger hood. I used void before but dying to souls + fire wall or superfire was getting annoying.

 

Yeah, getting to phase 4 in void is so fast but getting 4 soul combo'd at the same time as a deep breath (#wowflashbacks) 3 runs in a row put me back to using bandos plus virtus hood. Only using crapier + eee right now though.

So I got seasinger hood, and full seasinger :). And then went Nexing with Ambler (tank), Dragon (void dps), Yoko (tetsu), myself also in tetsu. Apart from that we all died (Ambler twice), it went pretty well: torva boots :).

 

Funny story about dying:

Nex does 'contain this'.

Two dps die.

Tank dies due to normal attack two seconds later.

Q has to solo ice phase without shield/experience/food (had brews, now that's useful >.>).

Q dies.

All stuff recovered, no problem.

I lol'd as Ambler was complaining about all of that. Haha.

Got two royal frames (died due to double DC which spawned 10+ worms + 4 souls + super fire -.-), also succeeded scrolls/trade goods so I have 36 scrolls now (all tops & legs, seasinger hood, half of tetsu/lotus helms, vampirism). Need some laquer missions soon or I'll get scrolls before trade goods :S.

Does the vamp scrim work on abilities? When I used the aura, it didn't seem like I was healing for anything even when I was hitting 2-3k with abilities.

 

Also I need a new clan. I'm getting nothing done with my current one :/

Thought all the scrimshaws worked with abilities too though? Haven't actually played with a single one yet, but I read up that you could do some pretty nasty things with the Cruelty scrim and abilities.

It could have been the case that the monsters were outdamaging the healing of the vamp aura (since I usually AoE stuff down with Hurricane), but iirc I wasn't noticing anything on single targets. I think I might do some testing on the EoC dummy. Otherwise, penance seems like the best aura to use right now - I just need to get SS already <.<

Vampirism apparently drains health depending on how much your opponent has left, not depending on how much damage you're doing. That might explain lower-than-expected heals, as people typically use it at Nex and KK only.

What's the best aura to use for slayer then?

Aura or scrimshaw? Confused over the whole vampirism thing now lol.

I believe he meant Scrimshaw, Aura steals based on damage you do (especially since he said People typically use it at Nex and KK)

In response to a question earlier - I died, clicked too fast, left tetsu plate under grave. It still had 97% charge :)

No I meant aura. I tried it on slayer and when I was hitting 2-4k on monsters it wasn't healing me much at all. I'm not sure any scrimshaws are worth using while slaying since they cost so much.

For slayer, you're looking at equilibrium aura-wise, or penance on tasks like mithril dragons.

 

Edit: got a dragon skirt (or) kit + ancient platelegs clue, +4m. Also sold zaryte, never use it anymore.

Is there no use for Zaryte if you have Royal?

Royal is way cheaper, so unless you often kill arrow weak mobs, it's not worth having a zaryte.

 

She also has drygores, so lolweaknesses.

Zaryte is a great weapon, but that's mostly because it's so damn convenient. Ranged is just nicer than melee for hunting things spread out, like jogres, or really packed and low health, like skeletons & skoblins (those are an easy 1500 kph for skeleton scrolls).

Should have just given me your zaryte. Oh well.
