jijilentosmi
I've got around 50m, or at least it was 50m, worth of torstol herbs/seeds. Obviously the prices were dropped because of bxpw, but I hear a new minigame, or maybe a new reward for an old one(I haven't really played in a few weeks), makes torstol seeds easy to come by. I could use some information on the minigame, or some speculation on whether torstols will go back up. Thanks.

Quyneax
I don't know of a way to come by easy torstol... they are around 25k now, slightly falling. I think they can stay at this price for a long time. Saradomin_Mage
Torstol prices were influenced most recently by Temple Trekking, as the rework made it possible to get the herb itself if you chose that reward set. In real life MMO you don't get 99 smithing by making endless bronze daggers.
pulli23
Temple trekking with the old torstol price was about 1.5M / hour.. Anyways, I just managed to sell 1k torstols, for 20k each. - They stayed in the GE for almost a week at that price though. First they came to fishingand I didn't speak out because I wasn't fishing Then they came to the yewsand I didn't speak out because I didn't cut yews Then they came for the oresand I didn't speak out because I didn't collect ores Then they came for meand there was no one left to speak out for me. Cerri
Torstol prices were influenced most recently by Temple Trekking, as the rework made it possible to get the herb itself if you chose that reward set.And with pretty reliable frequency, too. Atleast I seemed to get them often. I don't know a lot about how to set up calculations to determine the actual rate of getting them, but if someone wants, I would be more than willing to try and help collect data. Come on you math wizards, help a girl out? ... one can dream, right? ... See my blog!
Winarr
Seen many bots in the last week in guthans farming mutated jadinko guards. They drop 1-4 noted torstol nearly as much as other high end herbs
jijilentosmi
Thanks for the advice, I suppose I'll keep them to make overloads when I get there.
Hardingen
Seen many bots in the last week in guthans farming mutated jadinko guards. They drop 1-4 noted torstol nearly as much as other high end herbs They only drop 1 noted herb at the time, and it is much rarer than other herbs. Have killed over 3k jadinko guard/male and have had somewhere around 2-4 torstols from them..

Come on you math wizards, help a girl out? Temple Trekking "drops" is random statistics based on the % completion on each journey. A friend of mine think it's a flat percentage in terms of distribution, so you may have simply gotten lucky as a result. Obviously, without stealing code, there's no way for us to figure out exactly what is what. :P
