What is the point of minecraft anyways? From what I've seen it's just like lego.

Depends what you take the game as

Some people take it as a survival, and will generally install mods that mean it's more realistic (such as improved suffocation, hunger, more enemies)

Some people take it as creative, and will generally install mods that increase creative capacity

Some people take it as realism, and will generally install mods that increase realism (hunger, biomes, more ores)

Some people take it as random enjoyment, and will generally install any mod

Some people take it as a roleplay, and will install roleplay stuff, or connect to a rolepaly server

It's a REALLY big shaft.

I didn't catch fire, I used the can of hairspray as a flamethrower and pointed it at my arm.

how are you going to ignore my posts when I'm offering to let you live as my vassal in two weeks time?

It would probaly be easier to just go with 1399, and use the Europa Universalis map, with changes (lumping one province minors together with larger ones, for instance).

How many villages and such would an average country have? It seems when you're talking about 1000 piety and such, it would take a long time if each country had one or two monasteries.

Way ahead of you =P

[hide]rRxTZ.png[/hide]

Each province would have 5 villages and such.

And yes, thats a good point, the game was realtime so I guess we should take it up to 50 per village/monastry/whatever per day.

Well I knew you wouldn't agree. I know how you hate facing facts.

I'd mod but there's a few reasons I can't/wont

I'm lazy

I want to play

School

Now there's solutions to these

If you guys keep your own tracks as well (I will make sure it's all in check) It wont be that much work, in comparison.

I can play as NPC's

Ours have pluses and minuses, with A+ being a 4.33 (which is the perfect).

I think I will prefer the cumalative, because I'll probaly be taking more AP courses than my friends, and I will be able to use that when we compete academically. Of course, some of them want to take AP Stats, which is just a wimpy AP course. It's practically less work than an honors course.

You'll have to excuse me if I scream grade inflation at you. Bah, I should have taken chem AP this year (despite the fact that it's the second hardest class in the highschool. It would have given me a 4.0 as opposed to the 3.8 I'm currently pulling). Though in terms of fluffy courses I think AP stats has nothing on AP Art History (one of the easiest courses offered iirc second only to PE). May I ask how they deal with "Special needs students" in your school? At least in California they get lumped in with all of the regular classes (example: English 10 World History [dumbed down world civ] and PE).

I'm a weird kid. I get to go to college (like an actual college) when I should technically still be in early high-school. Most of my fellow students think I'm a good 2-4 years older than I actually am.

On a different note, artist's block arrrgh <_<

Grim, it seems strange that AP chem is the hardest in your school. In our school, we have AP Calc (second hardest) and AP Physics C (hardest because it's physics and you have to use calc in it).

As for special needs, it's usually in the regular classes as well, but I am not quite sure, since I don't take any of those classes. (It was the fastest guidance counselor appointment ever. What do I want? Put me down for the next honors classes.)

Luckily, I talked with my guidance counselors, so instead of taking a mere Algebra 2 next year, I am skipping two grade levels up to AP Calc (so that's triple acceleration). Then theoretically I will be going to Cornell University (handy at having an ivy league university only five minutes from your house) to take some multivariable calculus and linear algebra stuff. Probaly lots of work, but plenty of nerd credit for that. I'm not going to wimp out and take AP stats into college, because I heard from my 11th grade friend (who's mom is a statistician) that the AP stats program at US high schools aren't worth taking. Hopefully in senior year, I will be capable of taking the big workload required to smash my friends academically (which is a pretty good motivation to working hard).

How are you doing that Theros? Are you actually going to college for all of your classes or just taking some college classes at a college in high school?

I think Earth and Nex will tell you that it is kinda convienient. Sometimes, our school has functions there, so we get to use world class concert halls and stuff. :D

Once when I went to perform in an orchestra concert, they had this dressing room with the mirrors (ya know the ones with the light bulbs all around it?)

How are you doing that Theros? Are you actually going to college for all of your classes or just taking some college classes at a college in high school?

Good for you, Tech. College >>>> highschool, by far.

I'm doing it via a program that helps kids get college. The program originates in a tech "college", but once you get to the point where the classes there won't get you any further along with your degree plan, you get to go off-campus. Normally, they only let juniors and up go, but I'm special. Or they changed the rules.

And Icu, I don't know if I would technically be a "prodigy" or not. There a test or something for that?

Edit: Changed some grammar and edited out some information because I'm paranoid

I don't understand. Am I right in saying you're going to college because you have above average intelligence?

Not necessarily. There could be a host of other reasons I could be being allowed to go to college...

And what would they be?

Relatives "knowing the right people". Flukes in the system. A whole host of conspiracy theories.

But you're probably right, I have always been the nerdy kid :P

Bah, and here I thought you went through a basic info analysis. You were correct, by the way - you probably could've guessed anyways based on little things I've said over my time as a Tavernite :P

I figure I'm safe saying that because none of you know who or where I really am... except maybe the mods with their (maybe?) IP-tracking ways.

I'm pretty sure that with anyone who uses the internet as much as I do, piecing together their identity wouldn't be too hard.

But I'm usually sure to cover my tracks pretty well, so if you really wanted to steal my identity or stalk me or something weird, your time is probably better spent doing something - no, ANYTHING - else. Because there's no way it'd be worth the time you'd need to spend digging; and even then I'm not sure I've made enough connections/statements to what I do IRL for it to make a difference.
