Nex, it was explicit when I saw it. You said it yourself, everything has been redone repeatedly, now they may have edited some of that [cabbage] out (though if you think any of that's bad, I'd advise reading the 2e forgotten realms books, Ed Greenwood was a dirty old man).

I did, and disliked it entirely. I didn't even bother reading most of it, so maybe thats where you're getting the feeling.

Hey Wyvren/Grim, do you know if a creature with three arms could hold a two-handed weapon and a shield without some sort of two-weapon fighting penalty?

I am not personally familiar with any 3 armed creatures intended that make reasonable character. The subject isn't really covered anywhere that I know of so all I can tell you:

Atleast in the case of Thri-Kreen the only race that I am aware of that has more than 2 hands and is intended for player use, they may use two 2-handed double weapons taking multiweapon penalties for 1 light weapon and 2 standard weapons demonstrated by the Gythka Racial Exotic weapon, which are not reduced by Two-weapon fighting

multilimbed creatures can use shields, though additional shields provide no benefits.

Effectively, the exact outcome of the Situation is Obviously an edge case and dependant upon the DM's decision of whether a penalty is incurred, Though is it really neccessary to powergame using Questionable areas of the rules?

This is a question about the Eidolon, which can take as many arm upgrades as it wants. At level 4, an Eidolon can have as many as ten arms, but that is not actually what I am using ingame.

The question just occured when I was looking over the monstrous feats. Honestly, powergaming would be if I picked up a full caster, even though I am not thrilled by the flavor of any of them. And please stop assuming that I'm powergaming everytime I'm asking a rules question? If I really wanted to powergame, I would probably be going on GiTP forums and asking them, "What is the cheesiest and overpowered Pathfinder character possible?"

Like I said before, I will give my character sheet to Grim so he can look it over and point out any powergamey aspects that I put in, mainly because I admit that I have powergaming tendencies.

I have some spare time so if anybody would be interested in joining a sort of dungeoneering/puzzle game where the emphasis is on careful battle planning as opposed to roleplaying then I have an idea in mind. I will be using the d20 system. I will be giving people strategic maps and such, weapons and companions and it will be there job to work out the best course of action to finish a quest ( E.G escape from a prison, steal a drug lords gold, assasinate a lord) and I will then they will play it out themselves. Combining the tactics of hegemony and the directness of dungeoneering with a pinch of puzzles (inspired by space but done in a completely different manner)

If anybody wants me to elaborate then I will but otherwise I don't want to write for no reason.

Ok, I've read through the entire Drowtales so far, it was better after the first few hundred pages, the story is sort of predictable and unentertaining, the only thing that kept me reading it was how [bleep]ed up some of the scenes were.

If you don't enjoy partial nudity, truly insane conspiracy and/or seeing a ten year old kill stuff, then it's not worth the read.

... Partial nudity, goddamnit don't tell me that crap is in the main story too.

I like the storyline, quite honestly. More interesting than quite a bit I've read.

Nudity can be funny in comics.

Oglaf is an example.

It's a REALLY big shaft.

I didn't catch fire, I used the can of hairspray as a flamethrower and pointed it at my arm.

how are you going to ignore my posts when I'm offering to let you live as my vassal in two weeks time?

With the actual Context information of the Request I can actually answer the question:

RAW - Eidolons cannot use Shields

RAI - Eidolons can use shields in addition to weapons, if they become proficient with shields

I assumed you were power gaming, as Lacking Any Context , I figured It pertained to a character Race (Everyone has one) as opposed to an uncommon class ability, and based on my knowledge Multiattack qualifing Creatures are almost Universally not appropriate choices for PCs. If you want me to not instantly assume that Obscure or borderline rules questions are not for use in Powergaming, you need to provide the context in which it is intended for use, as without such a context it is almost impossible to provide an accurate ruling. (though there are certain standard assumptions in place, such as being a Humanoid of small or medium size) some random over the top examples:

Player - Is it acceptable to use stealth to hide behind Shipping Crates?

GM - Yes. (using Standard assumptions)

...

Player - I use stealth to hide behind one of the Shipping crates to set up an ambush. *rolls*

Gm - What on earth do you mean you are hiding behind a shipping crate, That is patently absurd.

Player - But You Said I could before we started.

GM - And I assumed You Weren't playing as a Huge Green Dragon.

Player - Can creatures of the Animal type use rings?

GM - Yes.

...

Player - Okay, I give my snake the ring of invisibility and he sneaks into the base to strangle the Bandit lord in his sleep.

GM - Your Snake cant use a ring of invisibility.

Player - But you said Animals can use rings, and my Snake is of the animal type.

GM- Snakes are an exception to the norm, They do not have many of normal magic item slots. And besides your snake would not be able to activate the invisibility effect if it had a ring slot

Going to the GitP forums is not a nice thing to do as a player, but atleast you are not going to the experts of Powergaming.

One of the clothes worth remembering actually covered less skin than a rope bondage suit would. And what I think Grim was talking about, lesbians in the bathtub, starts around 1350.

It's fictional work. I really don't see why it should bother you. -.- (But, if this story has it all over the place, then yeah, I can understand)

I am very confused....

I had internet problems again and I was unable to connect for a few hours. So when I turned back on my adapter (In my experience, if you cannt connect to the internet at all, after resetiing both PC, Adapter and checking windows diagnose, turning off the adapter for a couple of hours works).

But the general problem was "An IP conflict"

I still have this problem though.... Yet I am able to connect to the internet now. So something is definately up. As I check my network, it says my computer isn't even connected to the internet, and that I still have an IP conflict.

What the hell is going on, am I being hacked?

It's a REALLY big shaft.

I didn't catch fire, I used the can of hairspray as a flamethrower and pointed it at my arm.

Yes I know you saw me jump the red light, at 80 miles an hour, in a 30 zone...

But if I had wanted to break the law I would have been travelling at 180 miles an hour-the theoretically maximum for my car-, in a pedestrian zone, with a suitcase full of pure Heroin, a loaded machine gun and several large bags, marked with Dollar signs, brimming with cash. Along with two illegal immigrants in my back seat and a small atomic bomb.

Sorry, but the fact you aren't powergaming to your full potential, isn't a good argument for you not powergaming.

Well I knew you wouldn't agree. I know how you hate facing facts.

Might just be because it's used tastelessly; the author throws it in for no other reason than fanservice or something.

Not reading it, so can't say.

*Sigh*

It's a good comic... But it's like advocating a reformed sex offender. <_<

I mean, artwork is incredible, story is great, the characters might not be so deep but they're quirky and moving, and then you have the webcomic's team dumping inappropriate crap (they don't actually do it often in the least... once per few hundred pages maybe, and that's not even really bad).

I can only hope that it will become milder with time as it undergoes further revisions, but it's probably too much to hope for that they'll purge the goddamned side stories.

Prejudice is alive and well in the modern world...

Had to take photos on a children's fun day:

"Excuse me, are you are paedophile, or do you just like taking pictures of little kids?"

Fortunately I am fairly diplomatical and didn't point out:

Those two are one in the same (the fomer and latter, not the latter and the former).

If I was a woman we wouldn't be having this conversation, despite woman being up to 20% more likely to be Paedophiles(according to some data)

Your complete lack of tact or subtly

The fact that you are Scouts, and all you have done is build an umbrella fortress against the rain, and huddled all the children close to you.

But I digress.

Well I knew you wouldn't agree. I know how you hate facing facts.
