I once killed a wolf in adventure mode by throwing its own blood at it (after hitting it with a dragon corpse first, of course)

Gotta try this adventure mode, sounds kick ASS.

 

Anyone thinking about getting Fallout: New Vegas?

 

Because I was thinking about making a modless hegemony style game. Basically, you're in a wasteland and you own a clan/guild/gathering. You'll all start out equal, but there would be paths you could take. As it's a wasteland of a city, and pretty much all money was destroyed in the war, and using a bottlecap like system would get weird, I was thinking that there'd be a bunch of resources instead. Food/Drink, Luxuries, Metal, Wood, Man power, Guns, Armor, so on and so on. Now instead of it being like regular old hegemony, where it's seperated out like territories, and there's just a map with borders and such, you control a specific point in the map, that is your base, now when you get bigger and stronger, sure you can make a new base, but this is where it gets to where the first hegemonies greatness was. As that first part was only like a city, just imagine, the whole of the earth would be like the vastness of space (kind of, but it's still pretty big). Now, it'd be annoying for everyone to be rooted to their first cities, cause that means everyones most powerful city is right next to your biggest competitor, so you can even have the option if the base isn't really complicated to just pack up and leave.

 

To summarise it - Wasteland modless(still thinking about that part) hegemony, countries don't exist, npc's are a huge threat, mutated things, battle for survival.

Meh. Fever, super-sore throat, choking on mucus, severe, uncontrollable, immobilizing shivering when I'm under a carpton of heavy blankets on a warm night, a headache, sore eyes, sore bones, weak muscles, no voice. The only thing that doesn't hurt is, ironically, my stomach.

 

And sleeping makes it ten times worse.

Try lemon tea as well.

 

I love lemon tea, and it really helps with a cold.

Lemon tea with honey, the bacteria in honey strenghten your imune system. Also make sure to get lots of vitamin-C and D.

A lot of the time, you feel worst before you get better, as some of the defenses in your body actually can make you feel like crap.

Nex, lemon tea's not acidic (the reason juice hurt), it only tastes slightly lemony and contains vitamin-C. Anyways if your throat is that sore I sugguest warm milk with honey, a good dose of that topped of with a steaming cup of any lemon, spice or green tea will work wonders for you health. You also ought to get some salt and avoid regular and malt sugar (sucrose and maltose (fructose and other di-saccarids don't affect germs)).

A few weeks ago, I was sick with some bug that made you feel like crap until you barfed a few times, then you were fine.

Not especially, just has the best responce in the average of situations...Since, if you ignore modern medicene and such, a fever is the best way for the body to fight bacteria...Although it can kill you as well....Thus evolution would take us down the path of people's who's bodies are killed easily by fevers, die off, while those who's bodies don't, survive, ect.

 

The body just responds to stuff in the best way it can.

There is no 'perfect' design, if you can think of one though I'll give you an internet.

Perfect design? How about Strider or Advisor? Or even better, an Advisor with a Striders gun.

 

The perfect design for a body would be one that never needed nor created heat, one that could absorb energy in any form and had no need for any oriface or appendage, one which was made of a solidified noble gass and thus never degraded or broke chemically, one where our brain had instead been fused together with our other nerves, we would have developed a hard inner and outer body and our joints would be consisting of several layers. We would no longer have any organs except one that covered our entire body, we would reproduce asexually and our vission and other senses would all originate from all over our body where our body had become both photo and pressure sensitive. Our mind would have devoloped past the necessity of pain and we would instead feel it as a fourth sense (having only it vission, touch and hearing). We would be able to expand our bodies with enough strength to allow vaccum to form inside us and to such an extent as to let us levitate off any source gravity with an atmosphere. We would be able to absorb and secrete gasses and liquids for propulsion and floatation. We would also be able to comunicate using electromagnetic waves.

 

Anyone else imagining a shiny, purple orb flying around in space?
