Why are falador tavern moderators not just simply board moderators?

Because Falador Library used to/still does have Hawkxs, who was not an offical moderator. This was then formalised as a Falador Moderator, since there was some confusion.

Then, I assume, Nex and Ross were added to that group.

The same reason some other boards (mainly the clan boards) also have specialized moderators. Some boards need specialized attention from people who are more familiar with that board's 'community'.

Hotspot shield , I only ever need it for Hulu and a few other American sites. It's a VPN, so it encrypts all traffic coming in and out, not just browser traffic.

 

I see no need for a proxy, my school has literally blocked EVERY proxy on that site that lists them, and they are kinda pointless because everything can still be tracked back to you. The /b/tard that hacked Palin's email got caught, and he was behind 5 proxies or something.

I'm not Hex, just because I'm new and haven't revealed much about myself doesn't mean I am some sort of evil shifty troll in disguise. My IP is different and I'm sure that any moderator can vouch for that. I'm sure that (unless I was using an invisible proxy) it is possible to check whether or not I am actually using a proxy online.

 

Unless somebody has any conclusive proof that I am actually Hex then can we stop these mindless rumors please.
