Nexaduro
Ooooh I've heard of that Grim. I'll look into the stuff, Call of Cthulhu seems hard to find over the internet when I looked before. 'Pseudo' as in the universe will not be the Pathfinder universe, and I could potentially take some liberties with the rules. Or it's a different, but still d20-ish system. 10:53 PM - retech9691: I feel the need10:53 PM - retech9691: To include many chasms in my story arc10:53 PM - Resistance: You mean plotholes? Grim_
Ehh, I personally don't like d20 too much and much prefer some other alternatives; like a bell curve system (found in FATE, certain d6 games and the like), percentile dice (found in Call of Cthulhu, the 40k/Fantasy rpgs and certain others) and dicepools (to a degree, the amount of dice you can use in shadowrun seems a bit excessive to me). All I'm saying is, there's options out there other than generic d20.

If you're running Pathfinder and not changing *too* many rules (like they could be construed as house rules instead of making an entirely new system), then that would be interesting for me. I'd rather not learn an entirely new game system. Master of your domain? I am Lord of the manor, Queen of the castle, King of the county! Nexaduro
I couldn't make an ENTIRELY new system that complicated. 10:53 PM - retech9691: I feel the need10:53 PM - retech9691: To include many chasms in my story arc10:53 PM - Resistance: You mean plotholes? Retech
I mean, it's like 3.5 and Pathfinder. Lots of similarities, until you run into certain little things that can trip you up. I was never that experienced at 3.5, so I didn't really notice, but I'm sure Wyvren, Grim, and Ross did. Master of your domain? I am Lord of the manor, Queen of the castle, King of the county! Icuownage
I don't own SC2 :P I wish I did, but my pc makes it lag a bit, and a bit of lag is very damn costly. I'll have a new PC and probably SC2 soon. Icuownage
Well lag means that where you click isn't where you click (it happens with me in EU 3) so you can send guys quite far away or even totally miss an opponent when try to set them to attack, also, you could misplace a building... Further more with lag you're slower, and speed is very damn important in StarCraft It's a REALLY big shaft.I didn't catch fire, I used the can of hairspray as a flamethrower and pointed it at my arm.how are you going to ignore my posts when I'm offering to let you live as my vassal in two weeks time? archimage_a
The fourth dimension1 cannot be time2 because a spherical3 object with a circular4 timeline5 would just be represented as a sphere6 repeatedly doing nothing in the third dimension, a four-dimensional sphere however would appear as a single point, grown, shrink back to a point and disappear. The third dimension1 cannot be depth2, because a circular3 object, with a depth5 of a line4 would just be represented as a circle6. So:1. The dimension we are disproving. Code is X2. X3. X-14. X-15. X6. X-1 You are basically saying that, if we took a circle, added depth(Thus creating a Cylinder) we would still have a circle...only lots of them...in a line.If you add duration to a sphere, aka, a sphere doing nothing, then the sphere would still have duration...Just alot of spheres...in a line. Another example: This is a 1 dimensional object (It is not, it is a 2d represenation of a 1 dimensionl object). This is a 2 dimensional object (It is)- This is a 3d Object (Its not, its a 2d represenation of a 3d object, but bear with me): This is a 4d Object (Its still not, its a 2d representation of a 3d object, which has duration, thus it is also a 2d representation of a 4d object):http://dl.dropbox.com/u/12603519/1.avi As we can see in the metadata of the avi file: The object has width, heigh and length(aka duration for the purposes of this discussion)It doesn't have depth because I don't know how to create a hologram out of your screen, or measure the depth of said hologram if I could create it through an optical illusion. Then consider this:An apple is a 10 dimensional object. We can't see the 4th or higher dimensional aspect of it because we can't see how it was created, how it will be destroyed...anything like that. We can only see it RIGHT NOW. Aka, we can only see it in the 3rd dimension. Now, we can argue till the cows come home, its all theory and people far more skilled than us argue over it and cannot find a convincing argument. So enjoy writing your counter arguement. I will enjoy not reading it, and Ico will still not allow your tech to exist. Its all rather trivial...to be honest. http://www.uzzisoft..../archimage.jpegWell I knew you wouldn't agree. I know how you hate facing facts.

The fourth dimension1 is a form of extrusion2, because a spherical3 object, with a circular4 extrusion5 would be represented as a sphere6 which forms, grows, shrinks and disappears once as it moves through our location in the fourth dimension.
