March 21, 201214 yr Going to the hospital is not a big deal, I've been there twice, once with a broken leg, and once with a concussion. If you think it is, then you have to go outside more often. I imagine they are a bigger deal in the United States...Since they have to pay out an inordinate amount of money/fill in some paperwork. We, in Welfare State Countries, just have to go to the hospital without worrying that, though we will no longer be physically crippled, we may be finacially crippled. March 21, 201214 yr My mother goes to the hospital nearly every day. Because she works there. As for me, I've been in the hospital twice - once when I was born and got to stay in the ICU because of some sort of respiratory malfunction, and once when I got hit in the face with a 2x4 which was being used as a baseball bat. I've visited the hospital so many times I can't remember due to some... issues with my grandfather.
