August 9, 201213 yr Mather, what about Shakugan No Shana? I don't think it's particularly comedic, but I've heard it praised for its romance, action, and a maturely handled plot. There's also Gurren Lagann. Yes, it has giant robots, but they're just powered by people being cool. August 9, 201213 yr There was no technobabble in IS either, I think what really put me off was the slow moving lasers, hovering robot parts and the missiles that didn't explode when cleaved in half with a plasma sword. Also I'm currently at season 2 of Shakugan no Shana, it's good, being a close approximate of what I'm looking for, though the innocence prevents it from being great. Twitter: @TheMather1

August 10, 201213 yr It wasn't even any question if they were going to bring him back, he's the sole drive of the series. The moment he was gone I was just thinking "Hope they don't delay finding a way to get him back for too long, this is just painful to watch." EDIT: And now I'm back to having nothing to watch...It's hard to be someone who devours enjoyment. Things never last when you do them for up to entire days day consecutively.
