Arthu
Dragon defender. Not sure which weapon, long since I've trained strength without rapier. 99+ all 23rd March 2012 - 2496 total 13th June 2012.9000+ dragon drops! Including draconic visage, d chains, d spears, d2h, d claws, d meds, d legs, d skirts... d bones, d hides :)?I want jagex to put resource dungeons and dungeoneering skill doors to dungeoneering floors so I can dungeon and get dungeoneering xp while I dg so I don't have to dg to get dg exp, but I can dg while I dg :)? sohkmj1
I think Korasi's sword is the best strength training weapon behind rapier so you should try for that, otherwise use the brackish blade, it's quite comparable.
JeRambo
Dragon defender for sure, and an abyssal whip until you get 80 attack then a chaotic rapier is the best. OP does not have the level requirements to get the Korasi's sword. "Night gathers, and now my watch begins. It shall not end until my death. I shall take no wife, hold no lands, father no children. I shall wear no crowns and win no glory. I shall live and die at my post. I am the sword in the darkness. I am the watcher on the walls. I am the shield that guards the realms of men. I pledge my life and honor to the Night's Watch, for this night and all the nights to come." "An imperfect man can do great deeds, and a great man imperfect ones. Hardingen
I thought saradomin sword was a much better option than korasi or brackish blade, but maybe I am wrong?
Sy_Accursed
Sara Sword is good if you need a crush attack but its slow as hell (as are most crush weapons) which is where korasi, brackish and d scimmy swope in with better dps for better xp:hr Operation Gold Sparkles :: Chompy Kills :: Full Profound :: Champions :: Barbarian Notes :: Champions Tackle Box :: MA RewardsDragonkin Journals :: Ports Stories :: Elder Chronicles :: Boss Slayer :: Penance King :: Kal'gerion Titles :: Gold Statue

Fallstar
You'll want a dragon defender for slayer, for other things it varies a lot. And a sara sword is probably your best bet to train strength atm. Asmodean <
TC3
Sara sword is whip speed but it is 2 handed, meaning no dragon defender. That's why it's not considered one of the best strength training weapons anymore.
Kimberly
Sara sword is whip speed but it is 2 handed, meaning no dragon defender. That's why it's not considered one of the best strength training weapons anymore. Yeah but even with korasi brackish blade and ddef together, sara sword beats it in strength bonus until he can obtain/wield a chaotic rapier. EDIT: Crossed out korasi since OP can't use it. Yeah but even with korasi and ddef together, sara sword beats it in strength bonus.^^^Sara sword is still the best strength xp after rapier, slayer wise, except on metal dragons where brackish blade beats it. Powertraining wise Dharok's is probably a bit better and Korasi's slightly better if you use goliath gloves (with void deflector, that is). rilo kiley
So I just bought my bcp and I was wondering what shield I should get.. Any suggestions?85CB-----------71 Attack66 Strength67 defence55 ranged48 prayer78 mage Oh and also any suggestion for the weapon to train str? Im currently using a whip. heyy, i'v found the best weapon to train strength is a saradomin sword, but that excludes chaotic rapier, and korasi, i cant use either of them, but its been documented that sara sword is best str training weapon and you only ned 70 attack to wield it so you can use it, but if you cant afford sara sword the next best thing is dragon scimitar, i train str more than anything (its my highest skill) and i cant use alot of the higher lvl weapons so i understand where your at, as for shield it depends on what you want, a dragon defender is good for attack and strength bonuses and small def bonuses, also good are Holy books (first guthx/sara/zamorak then you can unlock bandos/ancient/armadyl doing horror from the deep which is an easy and quick quest) which give also give a prayer bonus, or you could use a obby shield which also gives a str bonus and def bonuses iOwn....
