Blaze The Movie Fan
Well, I guess it was unavoidable to talk about why I don't like the summoning skill. Yeah, that's my only reason for not wanting to use that skill, it's stupid, I know. And it does make me an ignorant Pokémon fanboy. But I should do more research though since it's not good to think that way. Do summoning monsters help with battles like Pokémon do? If they don't I really need to change my mind. You know what? I think I will make a new thread about my thoughts on summoning as I don't want this thread to go too off topic. So I will not be continuing the discussion here. Only combat familiars fight for you, and only in multi-combat areas. It's not like you have to use them either, you could stick with using beasts of burden and other familiars that don't fight. 99 HP, Attack, Strength, Defence, Summoning, Ranged, Herblore, Prayer, Agility, Magic, Slayer, Fletching, Fishing, Woodcutting, Mining, and Thieving. Yeah, I think we have discussed summoning enough here. If I need any further help with dungeoneering I will make a new reply to this thread. Blaze The Movie Fan
I have another question regarding this skill. What affects how much EXP I get in total after I fight the boss? And what exactly can I do to get as much EXP as possible?
Th e Doctor
Experience is determined by number of rooms opened primarily and secondarily by the number of monsters killed. For fast floors (good xp/hr) ignore killing monsters that aren't in guardian doors as the experience gained isn't worth it. Armadyl Drops : 4 Hilts; 3 Chestplates; 2 Chainskirts; 1 Helmet; 1 Buckler; 2 Shard 1; 2 Shard 2; 1 Shard 3Nex : 1 Zaryte BowKalphite King : 1 Drygore Rapier ; 1 Drygore Longsword : 1 Drygore Offhand Rapier : 1 Drygore Offhand Longsword
Blaze The Movie Fan
So I should just ignore all the monsters except the boss, is that what you're saying? Very well then, if that means quicker dungeoneering EXP I'll do it.

Blaze The Movie Fan
I tried avoiding fighting monsters, but it turns out that every door that isn't unlocked by a key is a guardian door. Not that it bothers me I have no problem fighting monsters, in fact I do it all the time. I have another question. Does buying a lot of food from that guy in the first room decrease the amount of EXP I get?
Hedgehog
You're doing meds/smalls. You shouldn't need more than a few pieces of food for the whole floor.
homer205
It won't decrease the amount of xp you get per floor, but it will decrease your xp per hour as it takes a while to buy/cook it. Also note that some doors can also be puzzles, skills or enter doors. Puzzles will open when you complete the room, skill when you clear whatever is in front of the door (some logs that need to be burnt away for example) and an enter door is one you can just go through right away. PolarBearBlue
It should be noted that for med/small dungeons most all the monster drop food, enough that you shouldn't need to buy any if you know how to kill the boss effectivelty and use a good weapon. All I can say is for F2P, the Fractile Spear is best. Basically, if the door needs a key, you can ignore all the monsters and just unlock and run.
