Anyways, Dan and I figured it could take as little as 36 days for me to hit 120 without using any tokens...

 

15.86m exp to 120

110k exp average (surv prod occ... I used an occ last time with plate calcs too as abds were 38k, occs 48k and warps 58k exp averages whenever I did them)

 

= 144.18182 dungeons.

 

So today... I sat in chat and there was a floor called, I did it, and then sat in lobby for 3 hours, admittedly I was doing things like Skype, emails and some house work, but I always kept an eye on the chat. Eventually 3 hours later, only a beta floor was called (+2 by the time I left) so I left Rune and decided to go on Medieval 2.

 

So taking that as perhaps indicative of the luck I face whenever I'm online - lets say I'm online for 12 hours (unlikely as home, but meh)

= 4 dungeons a day.

 

So 144 / 4 = 36 sets of 12 hours. Or more specifically 36 days.

 

 

But then again, as I said, being at home comes with the downside that whenever I give my parents the hint that I want to do something for fun they will call me and get me to do every errand under the sun in order to make sure I don't get to spend so much time doing anything. So 120 could take anywhere between 144 to 36 days.

 

Not that this makes the slightest bit of difference to anything I guess.

Last time I tried I stuck around for several hours before bothering giving up on it. Think the closest it got was +1 with no one else in EoE or on my friends list wanting to do one.

 

 

Also for all those that keep saying GF with hood:

 

The health is still nice enough, easier to operate hex with too, which is important... And if I really wanted to hex offers 2227 extra lp anyways. Brb spending DG with hex.

On this note, hex should only be worth using on hexables or things that are range weak and tank melee well

 

Crude calcs: (no prayers/rings though they should scale evenly)

 

Primal 2h DPS - max 1126 - 6 tick cooldown - 156 DPS

Hex (without effect) - max 405 - 4 tick - 85 DPS

Hex (with full 200% effect) - max between 665-805 depending how calc is made - DPS 139-168

 

So yeah, REALLY dont hex standard monsters :P Unless they have some ungodly tank against melee, though sofar the only ones I've noticed that do are hexables anyway

Range max is now wep max + range level + arrows so it could actually be quite good with a decent weapon strength :P

I really hope SSB pulls its weight, I don't like the idea of Hex being a must for dungeons. I think the changes to spells are okay, but it might be bit of a hassle if you get a guardian room straight out of ht and are full of mage only weak monsters.
