http://www.cracked.com's comment section is nothing but a bunch of guys fishing for thumbs up. While funny, it's not a very good place to have an actual discussion about the subject (And who wants to join an entirely new forum?). So I've decided to create this thread so that we can discuss Cracked's articles, videos, photoplasties, quick fixes, columnists and whatever else the site decides to offer.

 

So get reading and discussing I guess, and always remember to get your daily dose of Cracked.

I found them funny but lost interest after they traded dick jokes for social and political issues, without actually doing the research on some of them.

 

That article about prejudices in video games last week, for example... That mess killed my interest in the site as a whole.

Maybe you'd enjoy the videos more? Videos generally keep true to the silliness and I think I've only seen one I didn't enjoy.

I like cracked but I'm a few months behind on my reading, if someone brings up a particular article I'd probably jump ahead though.

I go to cracked a lot. Sometimes for humor, mostly for things I find interesting (deadly animals/insects, war stories, etc.)

I've always admired how they can have so many writers and yet manage to have all of their articles sound exactly the same.

 

Admired is probably the wrong word.

I used to read them because I thought it was funny, but they're not anymore, probably for reasons already stated here. Now I just read them when I have nothing to do.

They're occasionally funny, but I mostly read them for the "Heh, wouldja look at that" articles.

I only find myself reading Crack articles when I see friends post them in FB or reference them to me. Some are funny, but they're very hit or miss.

Endless pages of memes > cracked.

 

Though I will admit that Cracked has some pretty hysterical articles here and there. Mostly it's not the subject matter, but the skill of the writer that makes them a good read.

Find me a skilled writer that knows how to wield sarcasm and has mastered the subtleties of trolling and I can read that forever. If it's obvious, NTY.

I used to read a lot of stuff on Cracked, but then I grew tired of it and didn't enjoy it any more. So now I don't.

I've read some articles that I find interesting (mostly the lists), but I never read the ones for "humour".

 

If I had to choose an article that really stood, ut, it should be that one guy's article where he went to a Justin Bieber concert and reported the what was going on. He looked like the biggest pedo in the world.
