I have my 4 and 5 buttons as shift+4 (melee) and shift+5 (magic). The other buttons are bound per usual to their respective numbers. :P.

 

I've also found a glitch/oversight with the steel titan though that causes them to constantly pray melee, regardless of what they're hit. And I mean as soon as it switches to mage prayer, the next tick it switches back to praying melee. This isn't the old one where you could force TDs aggresive to you to pray melee, but is handy as mage is the hardest hitting attack style at TDs... But it's a pain in the freaking ass to try and weaken because you've only got 1 tick (you can't control it once you do it)... Lol.

is it possible to rip through them with mage before shield goes back up? if so, could be very handy as it would stay on melee pray and you can decimate with mage?

You can duo kills in 6 seconds. Some solo kills go as fast as 10-12. So... Yeah. :P.

My Naga's not responding instantly today for some reason... Making TDs really freaking hard. Ever since I updated Razer Synapse yesterday. :(.

Got another set of dragon limbs on what was supposed to be my last kill. Uploading the video to my YouTube channel. :).

 

 

Was trying out range and magic. Averaging about ~17 second kills from weaken 'til death when I actually pay attention. :P.

 

It's not a clear display of how much it's worth, since dragon limbs market are 17M and sell some days for 30M, other days for 20M. Have a few dragon claws and pieces from before though. Shame the dragon claws aren't still 30M a pop.

 

Might pull an Ambler and camp Bandos to get him done and over with. ^^.

I'm already at Bandos now. :P. And that video pretty much sums up how we do TDs. If we're there for speed, we kill them where ever they hit us from. If we have a movie on another monitor, we often just use the south lure spot and stick to two. :P.

 

Maybe I'll just record a decent length TD trip next time.

What gear do you use for TD's?

Void and either magic/melee or magic/range. Virtus wand and book, drygore longswords, royal crossbow. My ability bars can be seen in my recent screenshots. I switch boots, helm, and weapons.

Do you need a unicorn to survive?

If I'm using magic and ranged, I use a unicorn and cruelty scrimshaw. If I use magic and melee, I simply use a steel titan and vampyrism aura. :).

 

JJ said before bed last night that he'd thought of a way to keep his HP up while using magic and range with a steel titan. If that ends up working, that'll be my new setup.

 

Also, magic and ranged is great because if you use a magic threshold such as wild magic and then immediately switch to a ranged weapon, the damage will count as range. There's a ton of neat tricks down there. :P.

 

And just thinking about it... If his way of keeping HP up using a steel titan, magic and range works... Use the titan thing to keep it on melee prayer and duo - one max mage, one max range. :D. There's a few glitches in EoC (like being able to use deflect curses while keeping the soul split effect), but I'll leave that one with JJ. >.<
