February 9, 200620 yr im not sure if that idea of a german runescape is that good. i am from austria and we talk on german. i dont think i will play on german when not all those americans will be in the same worlds etc.

Cam.ac.uk is short for Cambridge; being Cambridge university. Fitz is his campus/college within the university. So it's definitely not fake unless there was a guy in Cambridge with the same name over 5 years ago who had an interest in programming. what a geek he is/was! My heart is broken by the terrible loss I have sustained in my old friends and companions and my poor soldiers. February 9, 200620 yr All of that info was pretty much known though, with maybe the exception of the Play Mods tid bit, wasn't it? They already let it be known that they were working on converting the game over to different languages, and the new game has been herd of for the longest time now. Its good to hear estimates on when some of the things come out... but just because they came to personally speak in front of your class... It doesn't mean that they're not the same old Jagex. Giving dates and not committing to them is a pretty bad habit of theres, even if they have an entire year to do it. And the whole hiring for CS deal just doesn't really get me all that excited. Especially if the current CS team are the ones who have to train the new people. If that be it the case... we'll just have another bunch of people who just like to send automated messages and provide little to no help what so ever. I really hope you take up this job, Craven. It'll give me a little peace of mind that at least one person there knows how to do their job properly (even with bad training). EDIT: Sorry, but for being the third best MMPORGP currently... they sure don't have good enough service to even be considered a top contender. And if it weren't for f2p... I'm sure they wouldn't even be ranked as high as they are. Oh... was the other game mentioned Star Wars Galaxies (SWG)? That game comes to mind as being a contender with WOW... I'm just not sure. Probably have it how most other games have it. Either have a server dedicated to that language, which probably wouldn't alter the text that the NPCs are saying. Or recode the text into the language of choice. Which is why it is probably taking so long. Then once that is done, they would probably have client options for the languages. Who knows, maybe the language options could even be changed via the in game options. I'm leaning toward the new client idea though... R.I.P Shiva

I sure dont see any japanese servers.. what is it that the dutch always have to speak english? ah well i wish i was at that presentation but i guess it was in english, or even japanese. February 9, 200620 yr Y2G...you complain about automated messages alot... There are currently 40 people in the Runescape Customer Support division. There are 6 million users (possibly 4 million messages a WEEK)...I would like to see you pen a response to each person. Sometimes it happens, most times it doesnt. When you call Bank of America to ask a question, do you get a voice the second you dial? No, you go through an automation process. Actually its not just Universities, its Colleges (at least) as well. And this is very interesting, Jagex are becoming more big and public company, they are breaking away from the safeness of a little company that owns an internet game, but they will become more successful as they become more corporate.

I got reviewed but had too many reports for language against me :( bloody noobs reporting me for all the lines with ***** in it... (most of the time it wasn't even censoring too...
