RuneFest 2013 - Venue Announcement

 

Hi all,

 

As promised we can finally let you know where this years RuneFest will be.

 

For those of you who dont know, Runefest 2013 is your chance to meet the RuneScape developers, hang out with the community and be the first to hear exclusive RuneScape news. Maybe while drinking an ale or two. This year, RuneFest will be held at the Tobacco Dock in the heart of London Docklands, and will have a distinct 'RS Gods' theme.

 

After extensive searching, we decided that the Tobacco Dock is the perfect venue. Built in the early 19th Century as a secure bonded warehouse for the receipt and storage of tobacco from the New World, Tobacco Dock was designed to offer complete security for precious and highly desirable goods. Where better for our very own port?

I wonder who will be doing RuneFest doverage this year. I think I watched RuneShark last year and they're gone now.

It's a shame, RuneShark were always funny IRL.

Going to try to make it, but flying from Taiwan has its difficulties, especially because tickets are on sale so close to the actual event :S

Not 100% sure if I'm going till tickets are on sale, but if I go I'll try and smuggle my HDD along so I can livestream on site, wonder if there'll be a section for streamers? :lol:

 

As for filming the event, I can probably borrow one of my college's 1440p cameras for the weekend, if I ask *very* nicely. ;)

Oh, what I would give to attend RuneFest atleast once!

 

 

Looks like a fun event, I'll be sitting at home drooling over pictures and videos from the event!

My mate lives in West India Quay, which is just around the corner so I'll probably come along this year, although will depend on how my they try & rook me for the ticket.

The EoC haters/'Ruinedscape veterans' are too busy trolling the official runescape facebook page posts to actually have the balls/cash to complain in person to the Jagex staff at runefest.

On a side note, hopefully be some good exclusives at this years runefest, shame I can't go.

Rather interested in going to it this year as I'm finding it harder and harder to keep motivation to play, may lose it altogether come next year.

 

Pity I don't know anyone else going (That lives in Éire).
